When can you bathe?

I’m 6 days post op, just seen the nurse. She removed my dressings and told me I can shower as normal now but I forgot to ask if I can bathe? I’ve been having shallow baths so I don’t get the dressings wet but now they’re off do I still need to keep them from getting submerged? Thanks girls x

My nurse told me I can’t have a deep bath where I get my incisions wet until my 6 week check. I’ve been having shallow baths, leaving my sports bra on but not letting the water get high x

Ok great thanks for clearing that up 🙂 least I can wash properly in the shower and a shallow bath is better than none! Xx

I was told at my week checkup I could shower and bath but just not to get shower gel or soap in the incision so since day 7 I’ve been bathing and gettin the incisions wet and I’m fine x
