When do you get told the surgery price? When does this need to be paid by?

I am looking at getting a loan to fund my surgery. But I wonder when exactly you get told the price of the treatment, is it during/after the surgeon consultation? and when does this have to be paid by? As I am not sure when to apply for my loan (and obviously can’t without knowing the price). Also how much is the consultation alone and when does this have to be paid for?

Hey Hannah, the physical consultation is free. The only thing I paid for was the online consultation which was the one before I met my surgeon in person and that was about £25. I did a payment plan with them where I paid a chunk of it when I got paid, this had to be paid within a week of my physical consultation after booking my surgery with them. And then I paid the remaining balance which was about £500 the month after. I did have to pay a £750 deposit to secure a date I wanted for surgery and in total including my deposit I paid £6095. I had a straight forward breast enlargement (no uplift or anything) but obviously if you end up needing an uplift etc obviously it’ll be more. Hope this helps 🙂
