When is the last time I can eat and drink?

Having my op on Saturday, my admission time is 8am, but I haven’t been contacted to be told when I can last eat or drink, does anybody know what this is? xxx

Just looked at my notes and they say ‘do not have anything to eat (including gum) 6 hours prior to surgery. You are able to drink still, clear water up to 2 hours prior to your admission.’

Thanks babe! I was told I would receive a call a few days before but obviously not unless they call tomorrow but I doubt it! Don’t know what i’d do without this forum!!! xxx
