When they say no make up…

Does that include mascara too ?? I was hoping I could use just a tiny bit for some dignity lol :’)

Lol! I wouldn’t risk it Hun. It’s all for hygiene reasons – they’re opening you up and the area needs to be completely sterile! Xxx

I was allowed my semi permanent lashes … double and triple checked this and was absolutely fine with my surgeon but obviously check with yours if this is something you’d consider. Definitely no actual make up though. However on the actual day I’m sure you won’t be able to care less what you look like in that moment! Xx

I was completely makeup free, fake tan free etc..i felt so ugly but honest on the day you don’t care. You are in hospital having an op, the only thing the staff will be looking at us your boobies! Xxx

I felt exactly the same so went and got my eye lashes tinted , made such a difference and didn’t feel naked!! Xx

I got my eyelashes and eyebrows tinted the day before my surgery! It’s worth doing especially for the few days after surgery to when you wont be able to do much.xx

I had no fake tan and had to wear my specs as I wasn’t even allowed my contact lenses. I looked horrendous (sent my best pal a pic) she said I looked like Wallys girlfriend Wanda lol
