When to start massage and stretch mark/scar oil

As title says really 😁 I’m booked in, in a few days 🤗. I’ve bought bio-oil to help prevent stretch marks and help scarring, when did any of you use it please if you did at all? Thanks x

Your surgeon, nurse and PC will advise against putting anything on your scars until a minimum of 6 weeks post-op. The wounds have to be fully closed with almost zero scabs, and the scars have to have started to form, so it will take a few weeks. Think you have to wait until you are giving the go-ahead at your 6-week post-op appointment. I am just over 3 weeks post-op and at my 2-week appointment the nurse told me to still not put soaps etc on. Good luck with your op x
