When to start taking Arnica

Hey girls, i have 4 days till my surgery and was wondering when do you start taking Arnica is it before your surgery or after?

Nurse told me on Tuesday at my 7day post op check it’s best to take it at least 7days before 🙁 wish I’d asked at my pre op. So if you’ve got start taking ’em!!! I started on Tuesday and have seen an improvement.

yeah i got mine in holland and barrett, Becky its a herbal tablet which is ment to help with bruising alot of people swear by it.

I want to take Arnica but my surgeon doesn’t recommend it meh :-/ xx

I think it’s so it naturally heals the bruises and less clots xx

Hey girls, It may be different for BA’s but was warned off Arnika as it thins the blood which makes it a bit more difficult to get a good job (im having rhino though so it is a little different) Its fine to take it post op though for me xx

Defo ask your Dr about Arnica and take it once off for a trial a few weeks pre op, as Jodie said a lot of Drs warn you off them as they are a blood thinner, excessive bleeding during surgery has been linked with CC so always worth checking. As it’s a herbal remedy and not a prescribed product it can make some people very ill, my Dr 1st time did tell me to take to arnica, I took it 2 weeks pre op and I had terrible stomach pains, vomiting and headaches so be careful ladies and always ask you Dr first. x

Oh no !! im worrying now iv taken it for two days i think i should stop then ??
They said defiantly get it but never said when to, i have my op tuesday maybe ill take it after the op then xx
