When will I start liking my boobs?

Post op day 2 and every time I take my bra off I cry!! When will I feel better about this? Anyone else experienced this? I know it’s only early on but I feel so so down right now 🙁 I’ll attach a photo xxx

What don’t you like about them? They look really good to me! I think anaesthetic can make you emotional last time I had it I couldn’t stop crying so it might just be that? They honestly look really nice to me xx

There really pointy and hard. The picture makes them look nicer than what they do really! I just keep thinking there gonna be like this forever and look like cones forever! I’m having a bad time today ☹️Xxx

Aw don’t be sad. I’m two weeks post op now and mine are finally just starting to take shape. For me the pointiness went after the first week and they literally look different every single day. Yours look great though stop worrying. They are just still swollen and need time to settle. 2 days post op is really early days xx

I hate mine so much right now too :(. My wound was bleeding last night on one of mine too so I was panicking about that (my nipple wound from uplift) and just feel massively bloated and like I’ve made a mistake. I Darent take bra off again as don’t want to disturb the wounds but i feel like I need to look at them to check they look ok. Just praying they miraculously look nice soon xxx

Aww terri it’s awful I’ve been in tears most of the morning. How are u feeling now? Just gotta think our boobs have been through a lot. They won’t look brill to start with! I suppose we just have to be patient xxx

You and your bodies been through a lot don’t forget and you’ll be going through a roller coaster of emotions, don’t worry I’m sure you’ll learn to love them! I have mine on Monday and I’m sure I’m going to feel the exact same as you haha xx

Babe your boobs look fantastic!! They just need time to settle. I darent even take my Macom off to have a look!! I walked through the door and my mum said ‘Sophie they don’t even look that big’ – cheers mum!! So I undid my shirt and showed her them just in my Macom and she instantly changed her mind. They don’t feel massive at the mo but they feel like they are in my armpits more than anything so that’s maybe why. Just glad to be home xxxx

Aww Gina I think they look great, 2 days is still so early on lovie. they will settle and change so much, don’t be down hun.

I personally will be more than happy if mine are like this when I go in next month, my boobs have got me down for so long – appox 15 yrs to be exact!

Thanks Sophie! Mine don’t look a great deal different when I have clothes on but as soon as my bra comes off its a complete different story haha. I just want to be back to normal I’m not very patient when it comes to stuff like this! Have you seen yours yet?

I slightly saw them before my Macom went on but I was still out of it and drowsy so I don’t remember much. I’m scared about taking my Macom off haha. Mine don’t look much different under my shirt but when I take my clothes off (except my Macom) you can tell.
I’m impatient too!! Haha. I just want to be able to do my hair, make up, have a bath and stuff lol. When can we have a shallow bath?? Also how long do I have to keep my stockings on for?? Xxx

I’ve undone my macom a few times to look you’l be fine doing that! Erm I had a shallow bath last night my nurse said its fine just aslong as you don’t get your dressings wet! I’m going round to my sisters tonight n she’s gonna wash my hair for me so hopefully I’ll feel a bit better. I’ve slept the day away again today been so tired! Erm it’s supposed to be 5 days or when your back to your normal self walking around n stuff. I’m walking but iv still got them on I’m scared to take them off! Xxxx

I may do it later if I get brave enough!! Lol I’ll keep them on for the next 5-7 days then. I so need a bath! My partner has been nothing but horrible to me since I got home. Won’t do anything to help me 🙁 I’m going to try and go to sleep now for a little bit then have some food when I get up 🙂 xxxx

I haven’t felt hungry at all since my op! I actually look pregnant!! Haha. Awww no way why has he been horrible to you? I don’t think I could cope with that on top of everything else! Poor you 🙁 sleep is the best cure I think! You don’t feel pain and you don’t think about it at the same time your helping your body heal! Xxxxx

I’m just thirsty so just drinking water and taking my Meds on top of that. I have no idea, think it’s because he didn’t want me to get them done to start with and now that I actually have he’s been horrible. Telling me he has no sympathy for me. I don’t want him to be sympathetic I just want him to be helpful. Yeah I could agree more. Just worried that if I go to sleep I’ll wake up even more stiff!! How was the stiffness for you POD1?? Xxxxx

See I have ate loads!! My bf didn’t really want me to get mine done even tho I had nothing at all and wouldn’t let him touch them!! Then yesterday when we got home he was more excited then me!! Last night I was really worried I felt like I couldn’t breath proper didn’t help that I was coughing my head of which hurt loads, I’m back in work tomoz on light duties that’s the bit im dreading the most, I had to get my sister to come and braid my hair as I couldn’t brush it and had really bad bed head through sleeping sat up lol I haven’t put my stockings of since leaving the hospitals pulls you advise I wear them xx

Toni if your walking around as normal then you should be fine with them off, I’ve been up n about a bit but I’m just a fairy n I’m scared to keep them off! They don’t really bother me apart from getting a bit hot at night other than that I forget I’m wearing them!
Sophie just think about why you got them, it was for you. Your partner will just be worried that you’l have loads more attention off men I think! I’m kind of seeing someone atm and he told me before I got it done that he hated fake boobs and he didn’t know what it would mean for us if I got them. He’s now saying he’s mad with me for telling people I work with (kind of had to) cos he thinks everyone will be “drooling” over me. It’s just a jealous thing I think. Get his bum kicked!! Xxxx

Erm tbh I thought I’d of been a lot worse with my stiffness on the first day. It wasn’t all that bad I could move my arms n stuff it was just my rib area/back area that was wuite stiff n felt really heavy! I just struggle to get out of bed I have to give myself a few minutes to brace myself hahaha xxxx

Yeah I definitely agree with Gina about the jealousy thing? My boyfriend was saying all sorts before I had them done like oh bet you can’t wait to flaunt yourself bla bla then the night before I had them done he had a drink at the hotel after a few he started with the whole I hope you don’t think you can’t take the piss out of me talk, but since the op he has been great so can’t really complain, I’m just stiff really a little sore near my armpits and I struggle to get up once I’ve sat back lol, I just hope they look bigger when they have dropped ect it’s really weird cause I have no feeling at all in my right nipple either I havnt lost feeling in my left xx

Yeah men can be a bit over protective with there woman. I think it’s because they know what other men are like! They’ll get used to it 🙂 sounds like yours already has anyways!!
I don’t think I have feeling in either of my boobs yet, is that normal? ???? They still feel like they’ve been stuck on!! Xxxx

Thanks Gina and Toni. It is definitely a jealousy thing!! I can see that a mile off but like I’ve said to him… I’m doing it for me and no one else. He’ll have to get over it or he can do one lol. Would just be nice to have his help even if he doesn’t agree with it.
I’ll be keeping my stockings on but they do make me get a bit warm and they are also starting to do my head in around the toes!!

Girls…. This might sound stupid but I’m not sure how I should lay on my v shaped pillow!! I can’t seem to get comfy hence why I’ve not fallen asleep for a nap. I’m dreading bed time!! Xxx

My sisters washed my hair tonight n put me French plaits in so I feel a bit cleaner ???? She’s making my tea now so I’m feeling a bit better.
Sophie I just put 2 cushions under my v pillow n then lie on that with 2 pillows either side for each arm n then your neck pillow. Try sleeping as close to the edge as u can cos it’s a night mare when u try n get out! Xxxx

Ha ha yeah it was so hard for me to get up this morning I just put my 2pillows as normal and my v pillow on top I found that I kept sliding down tho!! I think it’s normal not to feel anything at first it just made how I have sensation in one nipple and not the other, lol do you know if my boobs will feel and look bigger once they have dropped and fluffed? I can’t get over how small they feel but me traynor didn’t even think he was going to fit the 325 in so I know I couldn’t of gone bigger xx

Toni, what size were u before? I’m sure once they drop and fluff they will fill out and look bigger for you! Think we just need to give them time don’t we but I never imagined it being this hard !
Sophie I live by myself so I’ve had no choice but to get out of bed by myself haha I’ve been trying to do things by myself anyway cos I don’t want my body to seize up n be any more stiff than it should be! Just take your time! I feel like I’m walking around with a proper hunch back does anyone else? My back is aching!! Xxx

Haha oh dear!! Bless you. I’m like that too. I definitely don’t want to stiffen up anymore than I already am!! I seriously feel 8 months pregnant. My belly is so swollen especially in my upper abdomen. I feel like that too but the nurse said to me that if you feel like you’re walking like that then pull your shoulders back, stick out your chest and breathe – but it’s not comfortable 🙁 xxxx

I was a tiny 32 A if that I liteally had nothing!! So maybe I’m just being greedy, Sophie I have been getting of the sofa myself but last night I had to wake my bf to help me up to go to re toilet well not help me he liteally just help my hand and I pulled myself up, I’m sleeping on my own tonight so I’ll have no choice to get up myself ha xx

Also girls do any of you know how long we sleep sat up for? No one has mentioned that to me.
I’m scared about getting out of bed on my own!! I’m scared that I’ll pull something or strain my body even more haha.

You sound exactly like me Sophie I’m so glad I’ve got someone going through the same emotions as me!! Apparently It can take up to a week for the bloating to go unfortunately! ???? Nobody has mentioned about how long u sleep sat up for to me either I might phone my nurse tomorrow and ask about that! I don’t mind it iv just been falling to sleep but it hurts my back so much in the morning I just wanna snuggle up on my side ☹️Xxxx

I’m sure I remember my nurse saying at least 6weeks I could be wrong tho! I just remember her saying she had seen a girl that day I was there that had been sleeping on her side and her boobs was miss shaped that’s the last thing we want!!! I think I might sleep on sofa tonight with my v pillow less chance of me falling down woke up w few times last night and I had slid down lol xx

Hi Gina, they look great! It’s normal for them to be really hard and pointy at this stage so don’t worry (easier said than done I know). They’ll still be really swollen and bruised (the bruises took ages days to appear for me). I’m 8 weeks po and still have good days and bad days. My boyfriend couldn’t understand why I couldn’t just like them. The picture that Jess has posted is exactly how mine were and almost are now although the bottom half of mine still look quite straight from the side view rather than a nice curve but I had an uplift so not sure whether that’s affecting them. My bloating took about 1 week/ 10 days to go completely. It does get better though I promise! Xx

These are mine at about 16 weeks post op. I got told to sleep sitting up for 6 weeks but I just couldn’t do it. I slept upright for a few days but then only slightly elevated after day 8, and then on my side from day 11 onwards because it was so uncomfortable! I instantly felt way better. I was sleeping crap so I was feeling crap. A good night sleep did me wonders! Just trust your body’s feelings. Trying to upload a picture as well from day 1 and week 16 to show how much they’ll drop and change for you. They won’t stay high and solid forever! Mine are so soft and jiggly now and bounce around everywhere ???? xx

Hi Jess, what size implants did you have and what size were you before? You still have that lovely round shape at the top but I’ve lost that already at 8 weeks. I was a saggy 33dd and had an uplift with 325cc hp. Xx

@nikki1973 I was about a 34B and had 450cc high profile implants. Might be because I started off small. I actually think I’ve lost the upper roundness compared to week 8 and I’ve really been down about them recently! Already thinking about a re op to go bigger and have them more fake looking ???? xx

I think we all feel disappointed at times – we have this image in our minds as to how they’re going to look. I know mine are a million times better than they were pre op so I don’t get why I ant just be happy with them??? I see we have similar stats and both had dr mounir! I’m also measuring a 32f but am struggling to find nice bras that don’t cover them up too much – they cost enough so I’m not going to hide them. Haha. A lot of bras seem really bulky rather than sexy or pretty? Do you find the same? I don’t even look any different when I’ve got clothes on.Xx

@nikki1973 I also got sized as 32F in Ann Summers but I only own one bra and that was from New Look and is a 34DD. It’s not a perfect fit but it’s pretty comfortable! Primark are actually great if you’ve looked there. They have a special DD-G range I think. And Ann Summers do really sexy and pretty bras for larger sizes 🙂 Yeah I also don’t look different which is why I want to go bigger! No problem I’ll accept now. Haven’t uploaded many new pics so I’ll do that in a bit xx

Gina I’ve just uploaded a bunch of pics so you can see my day 1 to week 17 transformation and see how much they’ve changed! It’s crazy. They’re not even the same boobs, it’s like someone has taken them out and put soft natural ones in one night haha xx

Thanks Jess I’ve just had a look through them now! I don’t feel as stiff today, but I’ve taken my macom off and my boobs are still really stiff/hard and numb. How long til this goes? I can’t wait to feel normal again!! ???? I’ll attach a photo I took this morning, pod3 see what u think xx

Wow Gina yours are looking amazing already!! I was sooo flat chested before and only got 300cc implants so at the min they aren’t looking all that big to be honest more flat and pointed nipple but hopefully they’ve got a lot of changing to do so I’m trying my best to be patient, glad I’m not the only one already tired of waiting after 3 days hahah. Hope healings going well girls xxx

Thanks darcy, I’m trying to be more positive today about life haha. I’m moving around a lot more which is helping. Just trying to forget about my boobs for now cos I know I’m not gonna like them for a while yet. I think I’ll be happy after my first week post op so I know everything’s normal!! I’m sure yours will look great after time aswell! Don’t worry, I’m also glad I’m not the only one with worries!! Xxxxx

They look great for being so new! Mine looked round and more like real boobs at 2 weeks post op. They were squishy by 5 weeks xx
