Hey girls just wondering what bra everyone is buying for post op? Did you get a macom one? Lots of people I know say marks and spencer ones are good but which ones? And how do you know what size to get? Thanks girls! Xxx
Hi hun! Op on Tuesday and I have the following:
-Macom 34 back
-Asda sport bra 34 DD
I heard that the M&S ones are really good too – think they are the front zip ones high impact sport bras
In regards to sizes – you will go up a back size and depends on what CC you ordered, then that would be your cup size too 🙂
I am having 415cc over from a 32A, so hopefully a DD for me.
Hope this helps xx
heyy i got the m&s zip up one’s i’v seen mixed review’s about the macom ones xx
Hey, I’ve got the zip up m&s one. A back size bigger than usual and a cup size bigger than expected to allow for swelling. I think the black one is £22.50 and the pink one is £14 on sale at the moment but they only have a few sizes available online! Has everybody got more than one for straight after the surgery?! x
I’ve got the m&s zip up in my usual 32 then cup size DD xx
hiya hun i haf my op monday was told to buy a bigger back size and also a cup size bigger was 32/34b im wearing 36e marks & spencer zip up sports bra so comfy xx
I’m same as Teg but I’ve also got the macom! I’m 8 days post op and just tried my m&s one for the first time.. Feel snug as a bug in a rug!! 🙂 lol xx
Can someone post the link for the m&s ones I don’t know if I’m being really stupid on the website lol xx
How on earth do you know what cup size you will be?? Ive looked at lots of girls on here and the same pre-op size & same cc’s can give very very different post op results! I suppose its just an educated guess. x
guessing cup size pre op is impossible! I tried to but ended up with loads of bras that didn’t fit lol! bought a macom cos only back size need, pricey but worth it as you don’t waste money on other bras which don’t fit! xxx
It’s advisable to stick with your regular back size, yes you may get a little swelling but once that is gone a bra that is too big in the back wont support you correctly. You can buy bra extenders on ebay and amazon, you could get your usual size and use the extender if the swelling makes it very uncomfy. I was lucky with my 1st op in that I guessed DD and was right lol! There’s no exact science to it sadly and like a few of the other ladies have mentioned Macom bras are a great idea! I am going with a macom and I will measure my size right after the op then buy bras that are the correct size then. x
