Which bra sizes for after surgery? Started by: JerryCharlotte

    Hey lovelies,

I’ve already bought two macom bras just wanted to ask if you wear these with the strapping straight after the op? To sleep in too?

And also – when the strapping comes off I’ve seen most girls say they take zip sports bras with them to see the nurse so she can help put on.. But what sizes do you buy? Do you get a few different?

I know there will be a lot of swelling but I’m not sure which sizes to buy to accommodate this. I’m hoping to be a Dd after surgery from a small b cup.

Any help or bra recommendations much appreciated 🙂 xx

I only used shock ab run bras with all 3 of my ops my macc wasn’t strong for me but with shock abs you will need to fitted as done by width

@jerrycharlotte I put my Macom bra on over strapping as nurse at hospital told me it would give extra support, well nurse from May rang next day to see how I got on and she told me I didn’t need to where it as strapping alone tight enough to hold in place. I lasted two days with my bra on but I honestly felt like my breasts wanted to explode as felt so restricted so I took it off and it felt lots better…it’s just up to you Hun. Xx

Thanks girls.. Il see how I get on with the macom after plus strapping. I was more worried about what to wear when the strapping comes off as I’ve no idea what size they will be. I just assume most girls buy a few different sizes ? And wow three ops!! Crikey – I hope I only have to do this once xx

I got mine pre op and only needed one size as the shock ab they have snap back in them so they grow to wot ever size you are weather it’s from big to small with swelling or small to big it just grows with you and takes the hit on shock when your on the move b4 it hits to your brest hence that’s y it’s called shock absorber lol x

    Menu

Okay thanks mush 🙂 I just didn’t wana buy a DD Shock absorber and not be able to fit in it due to swelling lol. Don’t know what to expect after n defo don’t wana waste money on loads of bras that won’t fit x

You would need to fitted up for one its done by width coz of the snap back in it mine is 36F but twins are 32GG and with my swelling on top which took me to a H cup fits like glove x

I guess I can’t get fitted for this with strapping on tho lol. Il ask my PC what size she recommends cos I want to take one with me when I go back to have that off to put bra straight on. I just didn’t want to buy a DD one and risk it being too small if they swell to a F lol! Xx

I got mine b4 my op as long as got right back size with shock ab they go stretch out 4 cup sizes bigger but that’s only the shock ab chick that’s if your going for it strapping won’t stop you being fitted as back size is going to be the same x

    Menu

Oh that’s ok if they stretch out 4 sizes bigger then! I was panicking as the shock abs aren’t cheap and I thought i’d need to buy like 3-4 in diff sizes! haha.. phew! Thank you 🙂 xx
