    Hi girls,

I’m booked in for December and I’m just wondering what post OP bras to get? Do we get them after the surgery or before and how do you know which size to get! Any recommendations on good brands?

    Thank you!xx

ASDA post op bras have just came back online £15 for a white and a black. They’re supposed to be very comfortable too. I’m 4 days postop and can’t even get my macom on yet there’s just not enough room in it. I’m normall a size 30/32 back and I got the macom in the 32 it’s just too tight for the moment xxx

I got mine on Amazon- was a 34B and had 275cc overs. Was told I’d go up 2 cup sizes so ordered a size medium.
Go on Amazon and search for ZOEREA post surgery bras. They were £18.99 for a pack of 2.
Very comfortable for day and night.

You’ll need to take one with you when you have your surgery so order them before.

M&S bras are really good.. the high impact ones. They are black with pink on them.. ask your surgeon or PC which size you should get.. My surgeon was 100% spot on with the size.. I would recommend getting a cheaper one for the first week incase.. get it a size up because of swelling.. I got 34DD M&S and a 32E Asda one xx

    I have:
Macom – seem like they might rub a bit, stitching is tight.
Asda – very comfy but i doubt they’ll be supportive enough for the first 7-10 days. (2 for £15 though so I’d say get them anyway)
M&S- perfect (went up a back size and up 3 cup sizes for implants 300-400cc. If smaller do 2 cup sizes)

I bought mine as close to surgery date as poss & will take all 3 so my surgeon can pick the best one, for straight after. I can then return the ones I dont use.

    My surgery is Friday xx

    Hello ladies,

I hope this will help those of you that have terrible skin which is always having problems, I am now day 5 post op and I have brought everything under the sun! But I am so thankful to have listened to a friend who is a doctor. One word, Lipoelastic. I went for the zipper post op bra and they have a slightly cheaper one on their website too and I can honestly tell you, I love this bra. It has a cotton feel which did not irritate and it’s so soft but still very supportive. I highly recommended this brand as I do have a Macom bra as well and honestly, it has a very nylony feel to it. Don’t forget, sweat is not good when you are healing and inside Macoms instructions they advise that you wear a cotton vest first then the bra! What on earth! Plus, it sits exactly where my incision is, another no no for me. Lipoelastic however, wow. It’s a little bit pricy but well worth it in my opinion. Trust me I have searched high and low and came to the realisation that a good bra is everything and having spent so much on surgery, why penny pinch now. This has worked for me so everyone is different I know, but being overtly sensitive to most things I wanted to get the best post op bra for me.

Thank you for reading and good luck to those of you due to go in. Xxx
