White strips after BA

Hello

I had my BA done 16th of november, i had my post op with my nurse on the 24th. After she took the strapping off she put white sticky strips over the stitching and said it will come off after 7-9 days. It still hasnt come off on its own, should i take it off myself?

I would hun I’m at Preston waitin to go down theatre but told I will only have the Sticky strips an I go to see the nurse 1 wk post op to have them removed and just wear a bra. So you should be fine to take em off x

When I went for my 7 day check up I had the steri strips and was told to take them off in the shower on day 10. You have to get them wet so the peel off easier x

IT IS WHAT I BEEN TOLD TOO.TAKE THEM OFF WHEN I GO FOR SHOWER.THEY WILL COME OFF EASY.

ok thank you. Do i then just put bra straight back on after or did you let yours breath for a hour? xx

Its up to you hun! I’m almost 4 weeks post op now and I take my bra off for about an hour or so a day and have done for a while x
