Who did you tell about your BA??

Hey girls!

I’m struggling to decide if I should tell me dad/grandmother.. I’ve told my mum and she wasn’t exactly ‘supportive’ at first but she’s slowly coming round to the idea. My boyfriend is really supportive!

I’m confused cause I know my dad & nan would probably NEVER notice anything different, but I really want there support and do respect their opinion!

I struggled with this too. I told my mum and sister and that was it. Then on the way to the op I text my dad lol he was like you could have told me before and i would have only been supportive then his next text was I think it’s strange why you have to do it?! Anyway he’s then gone n told my nan for me so yeah! I told him only because I think his going to notice xx

I’ve told my mum, dad, partner and just two friends, that’s it though. To be fair no one would notice. I just wanted call there support xxx

I’ve told a few friends and they’ve all said ‘why you don’t need it’ but they’ve only ever seen me in padded bras and don’t understand how I feel about it all! I’ve got no confidence because of the size of them I’ve got a mans chest and I’m always wearing baggy tops and stuff to hide my whole upper body! And I think if I talk to my dad & nan and explain how I feel it might help!

It’s such a tough subject to bring up though haha!! Xx

Hi Sophie, I told basically everyone and they was all supportive but I really didn’t know how to bring it up to my nanna and grandad as the subject of boobs obviously doesn’t come up much haha in the end I got my sister to tell them and they said I should of just told them and said I should do what will make me happy so that was nice, it’s probably harder to bring up the subject than to talk about it! Hey sophie, i told my mum an she said im absoloutley crazy and wont come to any appointment so im doing the whole thing by myself lol!!! My sister said ‘you dont need it they’ll only go saggy’ my boyfriends really supportive though, it’s horrible to know there’s not much support but its also horrible knowing you feel a certain way about your body, you’re doing this for you always remember that, youre doing something good for you!!! An you’re going to love the results that you get!!! Xxx

Hi Samantha! I’m so glad someone is the same as me!! I agree I keep meeting up with my nan and dad in the intention of telling them but it’s hard to bring it up haha!! Thank you I’m so excited about it all!!xxx
