Who to go with?

I’m just currently researching different companies to have a breast enlargement procedure and really unsure of what to do. I know that some women on this forum haven’t actually gone with Mya for theirs, so I’m just wanting some opinions of who and where to go. Why did you choose the company/ surgeon you went with? Any advice would be very welcome. And maybe some pictures too! I’m looking to have a natural look 🙂 thank you

I’m having my op in December at Preston clinic. I chose mr traynor as he is breast specialist, focus’s just on breast and no other surgery. Read so many and seen so many good things about him. Also if you search him he has been doing this for quite some time. I chose Mya because of the insurance behind the operation. The guarantees and years worth of covers. My friend also went with Mya but a different surgeon who has since retired. She went to Preston clinic too and said the care was amazing. Everyone’s experience will be different as all our bodies and emotions are different. I found my surgeon to be professional but quite to the point and bland. But working in the healthcare profession I see this all the time with staff. It’s the stress of the job. You just go with your instinct and where you feel comfiest. Forget about the money because of this us something you truley want, money should be no limit. Mya is probably high rate but with everything included I’ve paid it and fingers crossed I will love my outcome. Good luck with searching!

I choose my surgeon because he’s the one I felt most relaxed and at ease with I didn’t go with mys as I personally didn’t feel comfortable but that is my personal experience you will just know when you meet the right surgeon don’t just have 1 consultation go to a few places and get a few different opinions x

I suppose it kind of depends on where you live as well? I went with Nuffield Private Hospital and had dr whitworth as have 2 of my friends! He was amazing! And the care you get there from the nurses is incredible! You stay in over night with them and they provide you with 2 support bras after surgery which is very similar to the Macom bra everyone talks about! Really great service would highly recommend 🙂 x

I recommend just booking consultations with surgeons from different companies and see how you feel. Thoroughly enquire about aftercare and whatnot as this does vary between companies. Peoples reviews are really hit and miss in general and you will always find negative reviews about companies. I’ve read bad reviews about MYA and Transform and the like. I ended up choosing Transform and despite my bad experiences with the patient co-ordinator, I really liked my surgeon and the way he paid close attention and in general how sweet and gentle he was. So I settled with Transform because at the end of the day it’s not the PC doing the surgery. All the other surgeons I’d seen were only recommending between 300-350cc meanwhile I knew I could fit more than that because I had breast tissue and not exactly the slimmest of them all. He gave me 420cc and he did say this was the biggest I could go if I was having overs. Not every surgeon will give you what you’ve got your heart set on also that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take into account the surgeons opinion though x

Thank you for your input guys 🙂 I have been for a first consultation at mya and did feel really comfortable there but because I’m not looking to get it done until easter, I was unable to meet with surgeons. Think I might use this half term to visit more companies and see what they are like. I have the money now to get them done and was debating whether to try and book in just before Xmas but don’t know whether it would be a sensible time. I’m just so desperate to have boobs its all I can think about at the moment and seeing all the amazing work on pictures is giving me massive boob envy haha xx

you probably could get in for Xmas but it’s weather your surgeon you chose has the dates. Everyone’s getting it done in that holiday so it saves having to book time off work (this is what my pc said) there was three dates I couldn’t decide over and by the time I went to see my surgeon a week later there was only one date and one place left which I took.

I did love Mya but like one of the girls said above. The pc isn’t the one doing the surgery. Ude research your choice in surgeons work and results and go with who you feel happiest with.
I chose my surgeon because of his work and results. In my consultation he was nice but you could tell I was his last appointment and he had been sat there repeating himself all day. I do however trust him and know that’s how work is sometimes. Each to there own though. But I’m mainly Doug it for the outcome. I don’t care about the inbetweenie bits ☺️ Xxx

Ps I also am desperate for boobs and feel like a perv fantacising over these fantastic ones the girls are getting results of after their surgery on here. It’s amazing what a difference something can do to a persons self esteem. I can’t wait ?

I am booked in with Transform, I met with both MYA and Transform. MYA I found very salesy and very pushy into me having it done quick and not giving me that time to consider my decisions. Transform was less like that and more about me and at end of day it is still surgery and shouldn’t be taken lightly. First surgeon I met DR Nathan, wasn’t impressed at all, he didn’t tell me any of the pros and cons, differences in implants sizes, projections, under and overs etc. I then met with dr meleagros! Made me feel so confident in him, he explained everything even down to smallest detail! It was about me and what I wanted yet he would be honest and give me a realistic opinion! So I am booked in 20th December with dr meleagros at transform! Heard/seen nothing but great reviews! 🙂 xx

Hi I researched having a ba for such a long time I had my heart set on transform as heard such good things and know they were a good company booked a consultation with them and I was heart broken as didn’t feel it as I felt it wasn’t very personal the pa treated me like any other patient quite pressuring I left and cried and nearly gave up….a week later I thought I would contact MYA honestly didn’t think I would get anywhere with them but the pa made me feel so welcome and encouraged me to visit as many company’s as possible to get the feel of each one I was that happy I went with MYA and had my op on Friday with mr kazzazi in Doncaster he’s a surgeon that will only recommend what he feels is best and does the natural look the service I have had has been second to none think it all depends on what clinic u go too………….just can’t wait now till I’m fully recovered and after 15 years I’ve finally had what I’ve always wanted ??? good luck with researching xxxxxx
