Why do each bra shop measure differently, i don’t get it??

:cool:I went to marks & spencer who refused to measure me, as i had my op only 3 weeks ago, so i am going to try again and next time not mention it. But i have noticed on here, many shops give different sizes? for example my sister is flat chested and got measured at a c cup??? where as before i was a 34b and had more boobs than her???.

I am going to get mine measured, i have measured myself at a 34dd, but i have tried a 34dd marks & spencer push up bra on and its a little big???? yet, yesterday i wore a 34e sports bra and it fit lovely.
Has anybody else been measured differently at other shops?.

haha its funny, i went to get measured last week, pre-op, i’m havin my op wednesday!!! anyway i’m pretty certain i’m about a 34 a/b, 2 different sizes, yet i was told i was a 32 c!!! lol no way at all! i usually wear 34b bras, sometimes they fit lovely, sometimes they’re too big! its weird how they come up with different sizes though isnt it??

I’m nt really sure how they get the cup size? is it just by the bra you wear? xx

I got measured today in M&S. The lady told me I was between sizes- either 32C/D or 34B/C. Really confusing- that’s 4 different sizes!

A few years back, I got measured in M&S as a 36A/B, then went straight over the road to Debenhams and they said 32C! Wouldn’t it be easier if all the shops measured the same?!!

a 32c is basically the same as a 34b as u go up in back size the cup slightly increases and as u go down in back size the cup also decreases slightly. if u get what i mean lol! so it dus work out as two sizes with jus more or less back space lol..ive confused myself now =S xx

hi i had my ba done 2 weeks ago n i went to get measured mns said i was 32dd/e n bravissimo said 30ff,its very confusing. but the smaller the back size the bigger the cup size.. i just think you need to try different sizes n see whats the best fit.. i do like the bras at mns so i will go there n la senza, need to get measured there..x
