I have been quoted £££ where as other girls who are not having it done on finance have paid at least a £££ pound cheaper. Will it make a difference if I see the surgeon first and then get a quote my pa said it would be ££ which I’m not paying when I could get it a lot cheaper from somewhere else has anyone had it done on finance and paid less then that ? Xx

Hey Jade, is that because of the interest? If you do finance I think it’s like 19% interest xx

I was quoted about the same but then took a cancelation and opted out of the overnight stay and pad £££ in the end.

but that was not on finance. get your original quote down first before adding the interest cost of finance

The thing is, sometimes certain times they do discounts, which they DON’T if you use their finance. It defies the purpose of them “giving” you a discount when you’re “asking THEM” for money. If that makes sense?
I got a discount for having 2 ops at the same time as that saves money in hospital stay, anaesthetists etc. but if I was going to take their finance I would have paid the full price. So it’s incorrect to say you would pay MORE, you just wouldn’t get the privilege of the discount. Depending on where you get the cash from (personal loan, credit card), it works out the same in the long run. Unless you have the cash with 0% apr.

But of course if you get their loan on 19% apr then of course you would pay more in the long run just like any other standard loans.
They might still do 0% over 10 months with a big deposit, not sure..

I’m pretty sure that’s without the interest so gonna cost a lot of money x
