Hi girls so finally got my new boobs so thought I would share my experience.
My admission time yesterday was 11am so arrived at the hospital around 10:10 just so I was nice and early.
They took me straight to my room which has a TV etc and have me my gown and stockings to put on.
I was a day case but still took enough for a week stay ha. No only kidding I just took pjs , slippers , toothbrush and toothpaste because I couldn’t eat or drink I kept wanting to brush my teeth , magazines and snacks.
I was waiting around for quite along time and didn’t finally go down until 16:15 but had mr traynor and think he had a few in because he’s got such a good reputation hence the long wait!
I felt really nervous but the nurse and especially my anaesetis were so lovely and made me feel really relaxed. They put the drip In the front of my hand and asked me to breath a little oxygen and that was it the next thing I remember was being taken back to room waffling on about how tired I was and it was as easy as that.
I felt a little bit whoozy and a bit drunk like but was sat up chatting away eating tea and toast and was discharged around 10pm.
My only negative comment about the day was the amount of time waiting around which was around 12 hours but it was so worth it when I looked down and saw my new boobs.
I met both my anaesetis and mr traynor about an hour before my op who both made me laugh and feel relaxed and also mr traynor before he went home.
He is really down to earth and made me laugh I would defiantly recommend him he’s very straight talking and doesn’t tell you what he thinks you want to hear.
Anyway had a bit of an uncomfortable nights sleep but only because I like sleeping on my side so not used to sleeping almost sat up but think a lot has to do with excitement and adrenaline too.
Tomorrow is another day and I can’t wait to show them off xxx
