WINE!

Whens the last time you can have alcohol before the op and afterwards? Its my friends 21st the week before and would like to drink!!

My nurse at the pre-op told me u can drink upto 2 weeks before op but if your going out a week before i’d just drink alcopops or something light! Avoid drinking if u can i think it thins your blood – not 100% sure on the reason behind it x

I got told no more drinking 48hours before xx

I was told 72 hours before! xx

2 weeks xx

2weeks for drinking 2 wks after x
2weeks for smoking b4 and after

I was told 48 hours before, but I detoxed for 1 week x

i was also told 48 hours xxx

2 weeks as alcohol thins your blood? But my info pack said 48 hours so it’s just your own preference really? x

My nurse crossed out 48 hrs on the paper work and said its 2weeks,ur not allowed a tattoo when had alcohol either thins ur blood Hun.im gagging for a glass of wine but not worth risking it xxx

i drank saturday and my op is wed. i wont drink now untill then. i got told 48hours before xx
