Just had 385overs 3 days ago.. Was originally wearing 32b bras but got measured at debenhams as a C.. In desperate need of another sports bra for these next few weeks so just took an online measurement la senza told me I’m a 32d and other site measured me as 32b :/. I have a m&s sports bra in 32d which doesn’t fit me so I am very sure I won’t ever fit into a 32b again (fingers crossed). & just now tried on some of my aunties bras she has a huge variety from all shops and I tried a 36d and the cups fitted perfectly just he back size was too big. But after reading I could be a 32b my heart as sank a little how is that even possible!?!? I know my size is going to change more over the next few weeks but please hope it’s for the better!! 🙁 x

Use the calculator at http://www.asophisticatedpair.com it’s the only one I find acurate, most stores use an off add 4/6 inches thing which leaves your bra unsupportive.

    Hi Amy,

I’m Emma, I work as a fit advisor for Triumph. It can be a minefield trying to find your correct size so we try to simplify things. Your underband measurement will be a more accurate guage of your size than the cup size, and Ayesha is absolutely right – as all bras fit slightly differently you do need to try on every bra you buy. Luckily, if you can’t make it to a store, many online retailers (including us) offer free delivery and returns so that you can get the best fit possible. The underband should fit to your frame and feel snug – if a 36D is feeling too loose and a 32D too tight, then you may want to look at a 32E or 32F as a starting point. Just remember that your breasts should fall naturally in to the cups without any digging or pinching, and most importantly the bra’s centre front should sit flat against your body.

    Best wishes, Emma
