I’m two weeks post op and have a very active 19 mth old , Today is my first day on my own with him and so far so good my biggest struggle has been getting him in/out of his cot as I have to lift him high up, I don’t think I would of been able to manage alone last week tho. Did let him climb up and sit on my knee after a couple of days just watch out for the elbows
Can you get friends round to help with dinner and nap times ? That may help x

I have 8 month old who’s just started crawling, I’m 11 days post op & today is first day on my own with him. Other than lifting him in & out of cot & highchair which hurts I’m trying to avoid lifting. I’ve filled the lounge with toys & put stair gate on lounge door. Just sitting on floor with him & doing bum changes on the floor Etc xx

Ah thanks for the input girls… My little one is in her bed which she will climb in and out of no probs so that’s fine… I do have a few friends who will be able to help me out! Worried if she jumps up on me, or knocks them, eeekkk
