Hi Joanne
I also have Slight asymmetry and empty boobs after weight loss. I thought I’d just need implants to fill the skin but was told by two surgeons I’d need uplift and implants. At first I considered just having a bigger implant to give them a boost but my surgeon explained they would drop and ‘bottom out’ within 18 months and then I’d be back wanting surgery again as they would sag more.
I really wanted the fullness at the top of my chest and i now understand the only way for me to get that loook is to have the uplift. They will last a lot longer too and therefore it’s more cost effective. I haven’t had any babies (yet) so not being able to breastfeed was a concern.
It was a little more expensive (6995) but it’s definitely worth the extra so they look better for longer.
I’m over it now and have my uplift and implant surgery booked for 31st July with Mr mounir in Preston . Just waiting to see him again so I can confirm implant sizes.
I know it’s a scary thought being told you need an uplift, I cried for days after my first surgeon consultation. But now I realise it’s the best option for me.
