Worried! Lateral Displacement??? Need reassurance…

Hiya, Im almost 5 weeks PO and this week noticed my Left breast feels strange, I can move it a lot and when I lie down it falls to the side, Since the start I thought it had dropped pretty quickly as it sat lower and my nipples were uneven straight away, My Right inplant is still higher and when i lie on my back my Right doesnt fall to the side…

What I would like to no is should they fall to the side a bit when lying down so my Right one still needs to catch up or do I have Lateral Displacement in my left?

Does anyone have any pictures of theirs when they lie down? I think it looks worse because my Right doesn’t fall to the side which is what makes me more worried :/

I have a photo but dont want to post it as i hate how they look I’ve stopped uploading Progress pics because of the difference 🙁 xxx

(P.s My 6 week check-up is on the 4th June so I will see what they say too)

My Left has also started hurting…

Hey hun, I’m 6 weeks on Saturday and both mine stay put when I lay down. I wouldn’t of expected them to fall to the side, but mine are Unders so they won’t move as much as overs. Call the nurse if you’re concerned they might bring your appointment forward xx

Aww my nurse seen this post and rang me but i was at work so I will ring them back tomorrow…

Do they not move even a little bit? xx

I would definitely contact your PC hun by the pic as one is different to the other, it might be the pocket has been made larger than the other one which is why it’s doing this. You could email your PC the pic n see what she thinks 🙂 xx

I think it looks ok, lateral displacement is mainly noticed when you’re standing up, if then one goes towards your armpits then there’s a problem as they should be on the front of your chest wall.

Lying down mine look like yours, one is much more proud than the other as I think the muscle is grabbing onto it still for dear life!

Still, to put your mind at rest I would call the nurse xx

She rang me today, said everybodys is different and she will be seeing me there in 6 days for my 6 week check, i thought the 6 week check was when i see my surgeon, wonder when that is then lol.

It feels horrible though being able to feel it sliding down when i push it back up lol xxx

You see your surgeon at 12 weeks hun – keep us posted but I’m sure it’s nothing! xx
