worried my cough will prevent my op..

had a cough for a week now and it don’t seem to be shifting.i got just over a week to my op n im starting to worry it will stop my op. 🙁

I have read girls on here that have said they have had really bad colds and stuff and they have still gone ahead xx

I had open rhino 2 weeks today and had a bad cold but dosed myself up i sounded ok on he day of the op and it still went ahead xx

its really up to the anaesthetist, they’ll listen to ye chest and might ask you to sniff. a little cough won’t stop it going ahead but if your coughing up alot of phelm and producing alot of mucus they may want to delay it. the best thing to do is drink loads, keep warm and eat well before your op to try and get rid of your cold. x

well its a week till boobie eve and the cough is still haunting me. so im going to live on Hunny and lemon lol

I’m worried too = got my BA 4th Jan and I’m just starting with sore throat/glands/cough – waited 12 years for this so don’t want to miss it now!

i been waiting 15 years be sooo gutted if it gets canceled will have to wait till Jan 2014 if it gets canceled coz of this stupid cough lol
