Worrying about loss of taste..!! :(

I had closed rhino 11 days ago and I still cant taste a thing! It’s really starting to get my down now as still can’t breathe through my nose either due to gunk up there…

Am panicking a bit today – if you’ve had this after rhino, how long did it take to get your taste back? I have my cast off on sat so maybe that will help?

Could really do with some reassurance as was never told abt this before surgery.. 🙁

I still have no taste either,it’s doing my head in the most! I feel starving constantly and I feel like I need a good meal even tho I am eating things..how’s ya nose? Iv actually picked mine today,and I have internal stitches I cudnt help myself! I got loads out and can completely breathe out of 1 nostril xx

Ah thank god you can’t taste either – totally doing my head in!!! Hahaha you picked? I don’t blame you! I could def breather if it wasn’t for all the crusts and gunk… I might try the sudafed spray – been trying to get hold of my pc for a few days to ask if I can use a spray but can’t get hold of her.. Soooooo can’t wait to be able to laugh without hurting my face and most of all taste some lovely food…. How’s things with you? Xxx
