Wound open/burst stitch-Help

Hi. So 2 days ago I was holding my daughters hand (2 and a half years old) and she threw the biggest paddy pulling me to the floor. As a result I ended up bursting a stitch open. I went to my own gp who has given me a 7day course of anti biotics as it’s been oozing. I haven’t yet spoken to a mya nurse. Just wondering would I need it dressing with it being 1cm open? I’m 11 days post op. Picture attached. Thank you xx

Hi oh dear ? I’m sure it will heal just fine! I have a 2 and half year old daughter my self and had my first consultation yesterday, my main concern with going through the procedure was her! How have you been finding having a toddler and the healing process?

I had my first post op on Saturday and yesterday my stitches have disappeared and I have a slight gap which you can see in x
