Wrists numb and strange sensations after revision

I had revision surgery today cc and had my implants slightly lowered as they stayed too high, I had my surgery at 9.30 and got home about 5pm. Started to notice my left wrist was feeling numb and hard to pick my arm up, right wrist is catching up too, can’t grip anything or even pick up my iPad? I’m presuming it’s just some nerves being pressed, anyone else had this problem?

I think you should ring your surgeon just to ask a few questions to make sure it’s ok. I’ve never heard of revision surgery, is this something they do if the surgeon doesn’t think they have been placed right? I’m 6 days post op and I get to see mine tomorrow after the strapping comes off. X

Yeah was a rupture you had Claire? I was just wondering if the surgeon thinks if there not right do they replace them….not that I’m worried yet cuss I can’t even see them. Think I feel more nervous about having my strapping removed then the surgery…I hope I love them. Xx

It was capsular contracture originally but when the surgeon opened me up it was ruptured.. Arh you will no love.. Not long to go xxx

Spoke to the nurse today and feeling came back to wrists this morning! Phew! @A30 my op was for capsular contracture and to alter implant pockets – will pop a new pic on my album soon x

Thanks @A30, they look slightly lower now but still nice x @claire1984 – I’m feeling ok today not taking as much painkillers, only had two today 🙂 how are you feeling?
