Young baby after ba

Has anyone else had a young baby to look after, after there ba? I have a 7 month old and wondering when other mums have been able to pick there baby up and how did you manage

Hi I have 3 children my youngest are 3 and 10 months I’m worried about the same thing and mines booked for Sunday lol . I think everyone is different in regards to the pain my friend coped fine whereas I know someone else couldn’t lift a kettle . The nurse said to me if I go down to there level and pick them up it will be ok . Ice also started worrying about bathing them etc xx

I’m thinking this too! My girls are 3 months and 2 so both need lots of attention still. Worring about being able to pick them up, bathing them etc! Xx

I have a two year old, trust me girls you just deal with it, the day after my op my bf had to run into work right over dinner time, I stood and cooked spag bowl, and managed to get boy into high chair, I was in quite abit of pain after my op from strapping also x don’t stress yous will get through it and manage x

Hi girls, I’m 3 days PO had 450 unders, I have a 7 year old and a 10 month old and I’m struggling a bit! I’ve had my boyfriend with me the whole time but he’s getting stressed doing everything and it’s frustrating me loads!! Can’t wait to be able to lift again! Xx

Hey Lucy I’m 4 weeks po now and I have a 7 month old. My partner was offshore when I had mine so I stayed at my mums for 1 weeks as I couldn’t physically lift her. On the second week it was better but still really struggled but I managed lol I would defs make sure you have some help lined up just in case. I was meant to be having overs which are quicker recovery but I got partials on the day for whatever reason so I was really sore but it’s all worth it you will be fine 🙂 xxx

Thankyou everyone, that sounds like me my husbands away in the army so I’m staying at my mums but she will be at work, my nan said she would come and help I’m just worried about relying on everyone! I’m having overs so hopefully that will help aswell xx
