How much of a role does your PC have in the whole process from consultation to aftercare?
Two of my friends have had BAs with MYA, one said her PC was amazing, the other said she didn’t speak to hers after the initial consultation.
Also, those of you who’ve had your BAs at Fitzroy, who was your PC? X
I’ve only spoken to my pc at my first ever consultation and other than me emailing her a first questions I’ve had no other contact with her but it doesn’t bother me really as end of day they not the experts we need to trust ultimately it’s the sugeon and nurse we should be bothers about xx
I was at the Newcastle clinic then had my op st Preston with mr traynor I was prepared for the pcs not to be bothered once you pay for money as there job roll really is just to get the money and sell mya to you really I’d researched companies befor deciding on mya reason I went with mya was because the aftercare seemed better then other companies n to me my aftercare was more important than the op it’s self xx
My PC is amazing, I email her all the time and she replies almost straight away even late at night!

My PC is Faye at Bristol Clinic she has made it clear that she will answer any questions any time, she even popped her head in when I had my stitches out yet my nurse Joanna I have had lots of contact with due to illness before my Op and also had to have a mammogram which I had trouble sorting out so Joanna contacted my local breast clinic, Lauren Who is on the reception desk has been a star, texting. I have felt extremely looked after by the clinic as a whole.
