Sorry I haven’t had a moment to do an update!
I had my surgery on March 24th, the doctor chose 300cc hp (silicone) in the operating room. (The range I gave him was 250cc- 300cc)
The recovery has been amazing. I was nervous to underestimate the recovery, but more nervous to psych myself out thinking it would be terrible, so I just tried to take it one day at a time. I took the prescription pain meds 3 times the day of surgery and it made me sick and sorry for the TMI, constipated, which has honestly been the worst part of the recovery! Still having some issues with that.. So starting post op day 1, I just took over the counter naproxen for the soreness. I’m still moving a little slow and wake up sore but otherwise feel really good!
I okayed it with my doctor ahead of time, and was told as long as I was off the prescription meds and felt up to it, I could drive and go back to work (desk job) Monday the 28th. I did and aside from being exhausted with a capitol E, I’ve been back at work all this week.
I went for my first follow up yesterday, and he removed the bandages. He used glue so no stitches, yay! I have been so scared that they would be too big. But I am actually very happy with his decision to go with the 300cc. I look forward to the shape changing as it drops and softens further , but overall extremely satisfied! It is of course still high and hardens like when you are breastfeeding, but it is already quite a lot softer than I was expecting. I guess i feared they would feel like water balloons. ?
I will attach some pictures of the incisions, and I have a picture right after the follow up. I will add another picture later, without the marker, that came mostly off after the magically decadent 30 min shower I was finally able to take last night. Simply heaven. ?
