The results are amazing, I am so happy and my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.

Why did you want the procedures?
I had always wanted to have a breast enlargement and rhinoplasty done since I was 16 years old.

Why did you choose MYA?
I found MYA so helpful and supportive they couldn’t help me enough, from the initial chat with the call centre to meeting my PC Louisa, she was amazing and was there every step of the way.

How was the day of your procedure?
I had my BA done in 2012; my surgeon was amazing and has given me exactly what I wanted, I feel so much more confident in my clothes and most importantly myself. The whole experience was amazing, I was well looked after by the hospital and clinic staff.

Why did you choose MYA for your second procedure?
After having such a great experience I didn’t think twice about going back to MYA to have my nose done, I had been doing research on my surgeon and I knew he was going to be the man for the job. I had always been frightened about having an operation on my face but once I met him I just wanted to have it done, he was wonderful and made me feel at ease.

I met him in Birmingham and 8 weeks later I had open rhinoplasty and never looked back.

Are you happy with your results?
The results are amazing, I am so happy and my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.

Before-and-after

Today I have the perfect nose, but what people notice more is my smile.

Why did you want the procedure?
I wanted rhinoplasty for a vast number of reasons, but to name a few, I was sick of waking up next to my boyfriend and wanting to hide my face. Wanting my personality back, wanting to feel confident in front of the camera after my modelling career failed, the list goes on. I managed to pay for the procedure by paying half upfront and half with the amazing finance place MYA can offer.

Why did you choose your surgeon?
I chose my surgeon because I was looking for a realistic idea of what could be achieved, he advised what would suit my face and I trusted him instantly, unlike many other surgeons I had met at different companies.

How was the day of you procedure?
Surgery day was the most exciting day of my life. My mum stayed with me through the process and we were both surprised at how quickly I was taken to theatre. The only part I was nervous about was being put to sleep, but even that was fun! I woke up with a very sore throat, but I must mention this was the only pain I experienced through both surgery and recovery! I wasn’t in my hospital room long before I was discharged to go home. My mum and fiancée looked after me so well.

Are you pleased with your results?
Today I have the perfect nose, but what people notice more is my smile. If you are certain something will improve your confidence, appearance and even lifestyle, why not go for it?

Jessica also has an amazing rhinoplasty Instagram journey where you can see each step of her MYA journey.

I am very happy with my results, I wish I’d of done it sooner

Why did you choose MYA?
Prior to choosing MYA I had consultations at many different companies, however, I found that at MYA, all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming and I knew straight away that MYA would be perfect. I had also researched MYA online and found so much positive feedback with great results.

How was the day of your procedure?
On the day of the procedure I was obviously very nervous, however, as soon as I stepped into the clinic the staff were friendly, reassuring and the atmosphere was so calm. I thought I may have cried because I thought I would have been so scared but I actually turned out to be more excited than anything!

How was your recovery?
When I first woke up after the procedure I was in a lot of discomfort, however, the staff were so helpful and brought me food and painkillers straight away. I went home the same day as I had chosen to have local and sedation and I was amazed at how well I felt, despite feeling tired. The first 2 weeks I took it easy and kept on top of the painkillers, however, I was back at work after 2 and a half weeks and being in the nursing profession this can be difficult but I managed it.

Are you happy with your results?
I am very happy with my results and trusted the surgeon. I had 325cc high profile implants which the surgeon suggested would be perfect for my body shape and size and I think he was very accurate. I went from a small 34B cup and the surgeon estimated I would be a large C/ small D cup afterwards, however, I am currently wearing 34DD/34D bras! The other great thing is that they also feel so real. They are not solid or have that ‘stuck on’ look at all! I can now wear the backless dresses I’ve always wanted to wear too!

Any advice?
Don’t go any longer ‘thinking’ about having a boob job. I did it for 3 years and wished I’d done it sooner! Good luck xx

I feel absolutely fabulous now I’ve had my reduction

Why did you want the procedure?
I have wanted a breast reduction for years and have always debated it as I was scared and nervous of the outcome. I wanted the reduction for my own peace of mind and insecurities. I’ve always been so conscious of my breasts as they used to sag and make me feel very large.

Why did you choose MYA?
I had been doing so much research on which company would be best suited for my needs. I had been to other clinics and didn’t feel welcomed like I did with MYA, the patient co-ordinators, nurses, receptionists even down to the girls at head office are absolutely amazing!

Why did you choose your surgeon?
I chose my surgeon due to researching and recommendation. One of my friends had the same procedure done with him and her results were incredible so I knew I’d be in safe hands.

How was the day of your procedure?
So I got my admission time a couple days before which was for around midday. I was getting nervous on the day as previously I was just excited! Everyone at the MYA Fitzroy Hospital was friendly, warming, welcoming and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I went down to surgery around 6:30pm and was back up to my room around 8:30pm, I hadn’t eaten anything all day so as you can imagine I wanted to stuff my face! I could see instant results (even though the amount of strapping I had on was hilarious).

How has your recovery been?
My recovery period was just under 6 weeks, during the time of my recovery I didn’t take that many pain killers as I didn’t feel it was needed (plus they made me really drowsy). On my second week I felt much more at ease in myself and could do a little bit more for myself, whereas in the first week I was worried if I did too much I would harm myself. I experienced one breast leaking as there was too much excess fluid in there (don’t worry like I did, it’s completely normal). I had to wear dressings for about 3 more weeks after my original dressing was taken off due to the leaking but that didn’t bother me so much. On my 6th week all my scabs had healed and then it was time for the scars to start disappearing!

How do you feel now?
I feel absolutely fabulous now I’ve had my reduction and would recommend it to anyone who is uncomfortable with the way they look, it’s the best thing I’ve done because I feel so confident now.

Bra shopping has never been better

Images

Why did you want the procedure?
I have wanted a breast enlargement for a very long time; since I was only 13. I wasn’t confident in myself or my body because of my small chest. I love shopping but really hated shopping for bras, the only kinds of bras I would wear were push-up.

My parents agreed that for my 21st birthday I could have a breast enlargement as that would be a gift from them to me. On my 20th Birthday I started looking around, I searched through a lot of companies, and came across a lot of forums, and the most talked about was MYA. I contacted them and I was given a date for my first consultation with my Patient coordinator, 3 days later.

How was your initial consultation?
We spoke about what I expected and the different choices, I was so excited and told her I would need to wait until my birthday 21st in December (this was in May 2014). I was then given a consultation date in June to meet my surgeon.

How was your surgeon consultation?

My surgeon was lovely and we spoke about what size (I was then 32B) and what size I would like to go to. I didn’t have any size in particular, I just wanted them bigger. He advised me of what size he thought may suit me better with my body frame I tried on a 325cc and I instantly fell in love! We agreed on that one and he informed me that my Patient Coordinator would be in touch.

She called me the very next day and asked if I still wanted to wait until December. I explained to her that I wouldn’t have the funding until then. She then told me that I could apply for finance and if I was accepted I could pay a deposit then in instalments until December when I could pay everything off, I just needed to be accepted first.

I tried the next morning; it went through! My Patient Coordinator called me to tell me the good news and that she could book me in when I paid my deposit. I paid my deposit one week later and she booked me in for July 11th 2014.

How was your procedure day?
I got to The MYA Fitzroy in London with my best friend; the location is amazing. I loved the staff, they were so friendly and answered all my questions. I didn’t have any jitters at all, until I was waiting to actually getting my anaesthetic done. It was just the thought of “I’ll be going to sleep flat chested and when I wake up I will have breasts”. I woke up smiling. All the nurses said that I didn’t look like I’ve just had an operation. My movement was limited for an hour or so. I managed to get discharged 2 hours after.

How was your recovery?
That night I went out for food with my best friend and my boyfriend, I felt amazing. The first sleep wasn’t at all hard, waking up in the morning I felt a little achy though, every morning after that it was easier to get out of bed. I had strapping on for the first week. I could not wait to go back and see the nurse to get them taken off. I was too pleased with the results, I still had a bit of swelling but it went down a week later.

Are you happy with your results?
Right now, I can happily say that I feel great. Bra shopping has never been better and since having my operation done I have been on two holidays, I went bikini shopping as soon as I got measured, I am now a 30F. Thank you so much everyone at MYA I now feel confident and pretty , writing this at 13 weeks on 10/10/14 I still can’t stop touching them and looking at them.

I have never looked back

Why did you want the procedure?
After having 2 children I lost all volume in my breasts and did not feel comfortable in any clothing. I used to wear baggy tops and did not enjoy shopping for underwear or bikinis. It was on my last holiday when I refused to take off my vest round the pool that I decided I needed to do something about it ! My friend had a breast augmentation 1 year before and I noticed the difference so much in her confidence that I decided to take the plunge.

What made you decide to go with MYA?
After having 3 consultations with 3 different companies there was no doubt in my mind I was going to choose MYA to go ahead with my procedure. I had my initial consultation with Amy in Newcastle and she was so easy to talk to and made me feel at ease; it was like talking to a friend who knew exactly how you were feeling. She booked me in to see 2 surgeons before I made my mind up to make sure I was making the right decision. My surgeon was fantastic! He was so easy to talk to, listened to my idea of the final results and then told me what he recommended for me. He made me feel at ease and explained from start to finish what would happen and the end results. Amy was great at answering any questions I had and any doubts I had, she talked them through with me which was great.

How was the day of your procedure?
On the day of the surgery I travelled down to Preston can I just say that was the worst journey of my life!! All the way down I was trying to talk myself out of it but knew that I wanted that end result so just put my headphones in and tried to relax!

Arriving at the hospital the staff were fantastic and made me feel at ease straight away, I was lead to a room where I changed into a gown and some lovely white stockings and was told a nurse would be round to see me soon.

After what seemed like hours, even though it wasn’t, a nurse came to see how I was feeling and told me I was last on the list to go down but my surgeon would be round to mark me up soon. When my surgeon did come round he made me feel so comfortable I almost forgot I was going down for surgery, he marked me up and asked if I had any questions and how I was feeling.

Then I was walked down to theatre and within minutes was lying being told just to relax and it’ll all be over soon.

Next thing I remember is waking up with a nurse offering me teaand toast. I was feeling a little bit sore and tight across the chest but not in any pain at all, certainly nowhere near as painful as I thought it would be! After a couple of hours I was walking round my room and even went in the room next door to talk to one of the other girls about her operation.

How was your recovery?
The next day I was driven home and was in no pain, just a dull ache in my chest, in fact I felt great considering.

I was like that for the next 7 days until my check up and after that I had no pain at all, was very surprised at how easy it all was but hey I’m not complaining! I was up and about in no time and back to the gym after about 4 weeks lifting small weights but had no problems what so ever. The aftercare was great in Newcastle as all the nurses there were very friendly and made you feel comfortable asking what must have been one of the most stupid questions ever!

Are you please with your results?
All I can say is that I would definitely recommend MYA. I have never looked back and the whole experience was an enjoyable one, as the end result is what matters. I’ve never been happier in myself and I’ve got my confidence back. It’s definitely worth doing and doing properly, I would like to thank my surgeon, also you would not even know I’ve had a breast augmentation as I have very little scaring, which is fantastic.

I was very impressed

Before-and-after

Why did you want the procedure?
I had been quite skeptical about cosmetic surgery. I’m in no way vain or self-obsessed but after working out for over 20 years, my weight had fluctuated. I went from a thirty inch waist and pretty lean to seeing my waist line increase to a 36 inch size after my daughter was born in 2007. I tried really hard to keep my weight down but had a few problem areas such as my flanks and lower back. After much research I plucked up the courage to go for a consultation with MYA.

How was your initial consultation?
My patient coordinator was lovely. A slim, beautiful, young woman which made me feel even more conscious (haha!), but she was easy to talk to and told me all the details.

I had lists of questions and after a couple of weeks to think it over, I booked to see a surgeon in Manchester.

How was your surgeon consultation?
I was very impressed by his honesty. He spoke to me from a medical/surgery point of view.

He made clear from the start that Vaser isn’t a weight loss procedure which I was fully aware of. I wanted a few areas looking at which were my stomach, flanks and chest. After an examination and to my happiness my surgeon said my chest was muscle and that I had a solid build but with a stubborn layer of fat over it.

He suggested, I leave my chest and go for my stomach area and flanks going round to my lower back. He fully explained the procedure and was very clear with what it would involve and what recovery would be like and the dreaded garment I’d have to wear.

How did you feel after your consultation?
I went away a bit unsure thinking I should have asked more questions…silly me!! After all it’s a fairly expensive procedure. My Pc advised I could go back and see my surgeon again which was very helpful of her. After the second meeting and finalising which areas to treat, my mind was made up. Luckily there was a slot two weeks away and I was booked in.

What happened in the countdown to your procedure?
I was promptly booked in for my pre-op, including blood tests, MRSA swabs etc. which were straight forward.

The day of my op came really quickly. I’d already spotted loads of clothes that I wanted to buy!

How was the day of your procedure?
I was nervous as I was told I’d be sort of awake but I don’t remember a thing; I apparently walked back to recovery but I cannot recall that at all.

At recovery, my surgeon said all went well; they removed almost three litres of fat. I was slightly dazed and remember thanking him.

About an hour after I came round I was able to go home. I had a 4D padded support garment on with a compression suit over the top which was very attractive….not!! It wasn’t uncomfortable and I wasn’t in any pain surprisingly it was only after a good few hours that I notice a little fluid leaking and some soreness; not pain just an uncomfortable feeling. I couldn’t wait to see the results.

How was your recovery?
I took my pain killers as requested and battled through. I did take time off work which I would recommend as not many clothes would go over my fat suit haha.

I wasn’t allowed to shower till the nurse had seen me a few days later and she removed the dressings. I could see the results for the first time. Even though heavily swollen, I could see a huge difference, I had a v shape that I’d been trying for years to get at the gym.

Are you happy with your results?
After 4 weeks I could take the 4D vest off and leave the compression garment on. Be warned, both items need to be worn 24/7 till you are told you can remove it. I am now almost two months post op and I can see a huge difference. I’m still a bit tender on my flanks but feel really solid. Part of me thought I should have more done, but don’t want to get carried away.

I already lead quite a healthy lifestyle but with the right diet and exercise regimen the end results will be fab.

This is by far the best decision I’ve taken in a long time if not my entire life.

Why did you want the procedure?
Throughout my teenage life I can’t remember a time I could go without a bra. I have always had big heavy droopy breasts. At 15 people would age me at 25 looking at my body. I always had to wear tight bras which provided the maximum support. The straps would eat into my shoulders, causing dark lines over my shoulders which I still have. They’d sit right into my skin, sometimes causing cuts into my skin. I thought it’d get better if I lost a little weight. They got droopier and remained heavy. I went up to a size 30G. I totally lost my self-confidence. I got tired of not being able to wear certain clothes. This was a major problem for me as I was very ashamed of them that I’d wear a bra even to sleep just so they wouldn’t be dangling around on my chest especially when I was around my family so they wouldn’t know I had breasts like that, besides I was only 17 with no children.

Why did you choose MYA?
Even though I’d always wanted an uplift, I never got the courage to go ahead with it. I finally got tired of it for the last time and started doing my research. I found MYA and arranged a consultation, I was glad that was free as at that point I didn’t want to pay for anything that I wasn’t sure I’d go through with.

How was your initial consultation with MYA?
I immediately met with a patient coordinator who gave me a lot of information on my chosen procedure and booked a consultation with the surgeon. After meeting my surgeon I was certain I was going ahead with it. He explained everything to me and his confidence to make me happy encouraged me more, I was convinced he would do a good job.

I then set the date I wanted to have it done. Then I couldn’t wait, I spent most of my time doing more research and dreaming of my soon to have new breasts.

How was the day of you procedure?
On the day, we got to the Preston clinic and met the nurses. They were super nice; I got shown to my room where I changed into my surgery gown. Not long after my surgeon came in to make his drawings, then we did all the paper work. I was getting nervous then, happy at the same time. A few minutes later, another very cheerful nurse came in and told me it was time. Oh the time had come.

I was super nervous now. The nurse walked me into the surgery room where she laid me comfortably on the surgical bed while she prepared me. The anesthesiologist also came in and started preparing, whilst we chatted. Then he said he was ready to inject the anesthesia, I smiled…. That was the last I remember from the operating room.

When I woke up, the cheerful nurse was with me, she said “we’re all done” and all I could say was “my breasts are on fire” haha I got taken to my room where I rested. I was feeling good already. I was given some painkillers and something to eat. I was checked on so often, I was very impressed with the care quality. I was discharged the next day. I got home very excited and happy to see my new set.
I went to the first post-op appointment where my bandages were taken off and I saw them fully for the first time (best moment!!) I am very pleased with everything! The nurses at MYA are super nice and they give the best advice too.

Are you pleased with your results?
This is by far the best decision I’ve taken in a long time if not my entire life. I’m so pleased with my result; I can already see the changes in my self-confidence and appearance. So far I’m healing very well, there’s been no problem. I’m looking forward to the next weeks/ months ahead, I can’t wait

Mya have made me so happy!Iv never really felt

Why did you want the procedure?
I never really felt balanced, I’ve always wanted womanly breasts to match my womanly curves! MYA made this happen!

How was your MYA experience?
I am only 2 days post op and couldn’t be happier! The staff at MYA are wonderful, helpful and friendly. They answered all of my many questions! Haha and I was able to go back to see them as many times as I liked to make me feel happier. Surgery is a scary thing but not once did I feel scared with MYA! 🙂 Lauren, my PC, and the other MYA girls were always there at the end of the phone if I needed anything.

How was your procedure day??
The hospital in Preston that i went to for my procedure was lovely. The staff were very friendly and explained everything. I saw my anaesthetist, John, who was so kind and informative and made me feel at ease! I then saw my surgeon again to go over final details, then took me down to theatre and before I knew it I woke up with my new girls!!! My surgeon came in to see me again once I was awake to make sure I was okay, then a few hours later i was at home!

My surgeon, Gary Traynor, is a genius! He is very informative and put me at ease straight away. So happy with my results already! Would recommend him to anyone, he’s brilliant 🙂

Would you recommend MYA?
I would recommend MYA to anyone, they are truly amazing. Very happy girl. Mya have made me so happy!

they are an impeccable company from start to finish

Why did you want the procedure?
I am from Australia living in the UK on a working holiday visa. I have always dreamt of having amazing perky big boobies. I am very fit and healthy but never seemed to be satisfied with my body shape. My partner Dan could see I wasn’t happy within myself so he offered to fund for my new assets.

Why did you choose MYA?
I called many different cosmetic companies, MYA was my choice solely because I felt comfortable, they were also very genuine and always there to help in a polite and happy nature. I found most of the other company’s too pushy to have the payment of the procedure and not my best interest at heart.

How was your surgeon consultation?
I learnt a lot at my appointments, I did want to go for a big size but my surgeon chose a safer op-tion for my frame as I didn’t want any implications so we went for 340cc round high profile im-plants under the muscle.

How was the day of your procedure?
The day of my surgery was a huge deal for me; I was petrified of being put under anesthesia as this was my first operation. I chose to have twilight sedation as the risks and complications seemed lesser especially for post op, my fear of twilight sedation was that I might wake up during the procedure.

The nurses at the hospital and the anaesthetists were so friendly and kind, I was at ease the whole way through the procedure. The only thing I didn’t worry about was how I was going to feel after the procedure and that was the worst part.

How was your recovery?
I woke up in a lot of discomfort; it’s not pain as such it’s an awkward and uncomfortable feeling. The first 2 to 3 weeks are very uncomfortable but from then on it is a speedy recovery and a dis-tant memory with big boobs!

By week 6 I was pretty much back to normal and went on a holiday to Ibiza. By this time I was al-ready looking into costs of a re augmentation, I have boob greed and already want bigger. I now have a small D cup and am planning on going for my second op next year with MYA to get 600cc implants if my skin stretches enough to allow the sizing.

Are you happy with you results?
MYA are such a fantastic company, I am even coming back to the UK next year from Australia solely to go through MYA again because they are an impeccable company from start to finish.

Any advice?
All the best with your journey, and if a boob job is something you can’t stop thinking about do not hold back!!
