    Hi ladies, i’m just wondering how long you waited before sleeping on your side? I’m only 10 days post op so realise its a bit too soon, but my nurse said 5 weeks?! I don’t know how i’m going to stay on my back for another month! i’ve barely slept since having the op, so any advice about side sleeping would be great 🙂 thanks! x

    Im the same hun im 11 days post op and im hating sleeping at tge minute i find it easier to still sleep upright then flat on my back i hate it try taking some sleeping tablets that what i have to do to sleep now x

    Babe had mine same day as you, been sleeping carefully on my side since 4days po. Had my postop check with mya nurse on weds, she couldn’t believe how well I’m healing and I asked her about it she said your fine as long as ur careful they only say longer incase u stretch out the stitching, but said u know ur own body so not to worry 🙂 hope that makes u feel better!!!xxx

    Haha no probs babe! I’m never ever a rule breaker but the bloody precautions they give u with these things!! I’ve had to ask the questions and luckily I’ve had ded cheeky nurses that have told me all the tricks!! The one when I stayed at first trust was whispering to me when I came out recovery like ‘ ask for pain relief as soon as you can so it never has time to kick in’ hahah!! I love them babe was all about shape for me and its actually a transformation!!! My story got published on patient storys lol! How are u biggens!!? Bet u can’t stop looking!! And yes try, but be careful!!xxx

    Haha! Yeah I know loads of what they tell you is to cover themselves and be extra cautious! Well your pics are amazing so no wonder you’re so happy with them! Ahh i’ll have to give it a read 🙂 I’m loving them thank you!! Going to have my first shower tonight too! I’m nervous haha xx

    The nurses told me that at first trust too i loved it there i had my first proper bath yesterday i felt a bit funny after might of been because i had it so hot though ha ha x

    im only 4days po!! i cannot stand sleeping straight up anymore!! do you think i will be able to lie more flat tonight? cannot wait till i can sleep on my side again!! @christina do you mind if i add you? xx

    Course chick add away! Yeh go flatter tonight and maybe stay on ur back for 2nights then introduce turning hahahh!! Its like a military operation!!! First trust were awesome kept trying to feed me then were all nicking my mcdonalds chips!!! Xxx

    Hahah YES!!! Was loving life half asleep flicking bigmac at my face! Not to mention the chewits and bountys buy the side of my bed for midnight snacks!!! So fat!xxx

    I’m 3 weeks tomorrow and have only just made the conscious effort to sleep on my side. During the first week I woke up on my front twice (whoopsie) but never woke up due to pain. My nurse said as long as I wasn’t in pain or anything had changed I was fine, think its all down to your body…if its not hurting then there is no harm in doing it xx

    hi hun, i am alm 3 weeks post op and cant fully sleep on side yet, but half turn – can. i use v-pillow and put it under the side and this helps not to press boobs too much. i also use memory foam pillow under my back and bum, and can sleep though the night on m back! normally i love sleeping on sides or belly, so for me it was a big change too! x
    ps i have my bed set up in my album if you are interested 🙂

    Aww thank you girls, you’re all so helpful! Yeah i suppose if it doesn’t hurt its okay, i’ve been trying sort of half and half!! haha I just don’t want to damage my new boobies as i have read they can move out of the pocket/ become misshaped from side sleeping and things, i’m sure i’ll eventually have a proper nights sleep! Thanks miss-vi, i’ll send a friend request if thats okay? xx
