I know it’s perfectly normal to think this when you first get your strapping off but oh my god how ugly are these boobs 😐 lmao

    What?????

Surely not? I know my friend said she cried when she first saw hers as it felt like a swimming rubber ring round her chest…. But she loves them now.

    Surely just the shock!

Chelsea I had the exact same thing when I had the strapping taking off on Tuesday, they were swollen and my nipples were like cones! I really didn’t feel like they were mine and was so scared to do anything. But I now feel fine with them, the only thing I hate at the moment Is how bloated and fat my stomach looks. But the swelling has gone down a bit in my boobs and I feel more like they are mine now. Honestly don’t worry about it! I posted the same sort of thing when I had mine off. I’ve only just got the courage to put any pictures up xx

I just looked at them and they were all pointy and weird looking lol. I’m sure they’ll look lovely when they’re settled and fluffed out but right now they look like cones haha

Don’t worry I was exactly the same. I came out of the appointment and my mum was like what did you think? And I said to her I didn’t really look at them! I couldn’t, I was so like ‘oh my god what have I done’. They looked like they’d just been stuck on, but I think mine have already started to drop a little bit and they don’t look as cone like anymore lol. So you will love them soon x

I know! I just kept asking the nurse whether the pointyness would go down! And it definitely doesn’t help being bloated, when I was getting pictures I had to cut most of them at my stomach because I was like oh my god! I just hope the bloating goes down before I start work. Haha I know! It will all be worth it come summer with our bikinis! Xx

I think it’s because when they were in the strapping we couldn’t see them! So it’s like only now you can start to try and get used to them. When I had the strapping on I kept not believing that they’d even been done xx

Are you boobs all bumpy feeling? I know that sounds silly. Now I’ve had the strapping off I gave them a bit of a feel and they feel all bumpy and my one nipple isn’t centred like the other :/ xx

They’re rigid because your body hasn’t accepted or adjusted to them yet, when they soften they’ll stop being so pointy and strange looking xx

Is it normal for one to look a lot bigger than the other? :/

I feel your pain girls! I’m 9 days PO and they still don’t feel like my own although I’m starting to get there. It’s got to get easier and it’ll all be so worth it xx

Can I ask you, why does your tummy get so bloated? :-/ xx

It’s the pain killers they give you bloat you up and make you constipated! Lovely! X

    Menu

I switched from co-codamol and took paracetamol and ibuprofen, much better for the tum! xx

    Menu

Oh Jeez, co-codamol are the strong ones you have to eat with each time you take them… joy! Lol xx

I had codrydamol. I looked so bloated my neighbour asked me if I was pregnant as she’d not seen me for a while, I was so embarrassed I just said no I’m fat lol. The painkillers made me really nauseous so I stopped taking them xx

I had my op last Tuesday and I stopped taking the codrydamol on the Friday really and am still really bloated/constipated 9 days post op. I’ve been taking sennakot and some days it gets better but today I’m back to being bloated again. Anyone know when it actually goes away for good!? xx

    Menu

I hate to be the bearer of bad news ladies but it was over a month until the bloating was gone for gone for me, both times!! Senakot, LOTS of water and fresh fruit will help to get things moving again and make you a little more comfy. IT’s totally normal to hate your boobies at first, lots of us call them FRANKENBOOBS lol! Everything has to stretch out and settle, they can be odd, uneven, high, under your collar bone and even SQUARE if you had unders! It takes a full year for your final result but you will start to love them in the coming weeks 🙂 Happy healing! x
