As I have been addicted to this forum and loved reading everyone’s stories about there day, thought I would write one.
So I’m on my way home and I have actually had a lovely day. My admission time was 9am and luckily I left so so early as there was so so so much traffic, we parked in the holiday inn Regent’s Park and was going to walk to MYA but after trying to use the sat nav to walk we was lost and it’s actually really close so got a taxi as we were running late. As soon as we arrived we waited about 10 mind before being shown to the room where I literally just went to the toilet and Mr Singh was there ready to mark me up and said we wold be going down withun the hour ( I was now ready to walk as was so scared) Mr Singh is the most loveliest man and made me feel so at ease I then saw the nurse and put my sexy gown and knickers on sat for like 10 mins and got ready questioning if I was doing the right thing mainly because I have a little boy and thinking was I being selfish and am I goun to wake up (my biggest fear) but then I had to go walked into the little room they out you to sleep and made the nurse promise I will wake up and then led on the bed and the cannular in your hand doesn’t even hurt and I’m a wimp then that was it…. I was woken up in another room by a lovely lady I can’t remember much just talking about pain which wasn’t to bad then I went back to my room where apparently I was crying but I can’t remeber. I actually enjoyed the general anaesthetic!
In My room I literally could not stay awake and when I felt up to it I had some tea and toast but I had low blood pressure so was a little bit sick. If in day still like now in the car or led down I am completely fine but moving off the bed is a killer I wished now I was staying over night as actually all the staff are so so so lovely and couldn’t do enough and the bed was so comfy.
Thankyou @Eve for coming in to see me too 🙂 I have enjoyed my experience and would definetly recommend MYA and Mr Singh.
