    Hi girls

    I know this is so early but the first few days after BA, sleeping is a myth. And even if you do get to sleep, it’s only for a few hours 🙁

    When the painkillers have kicked in, the pain is fine. I would barely rate it a 1/10, but when they’re wearing off, I don’t do drugs, but I guess that’s what a come down would feel like!

    I’ve been trying to sleep at an angle but when I wake up, I’ve rolled down the bed, then when I get up it’s sounds like my boob has filled with something. Water, blood? I don’t know but it sounds flooded!

    When did you girls start feeling better? I don’t feel awful but I’m back at work next week so having to keep on my toes and ignore the discomfort xx

    It will pass babe but first few days, relaxing is critical! try not do anything at all, just stay sat, chill and watch movies let you body repair itself. Honestly after day 4 you will feel a bit better and more like moving about. Don’t push it early on because it won’t help you long term xxxx have a speedy recovery x

    Hi eve, day two was the worst for me. After that I went okay 🙂 I still have the hot liquid feeling in my left boob, it’s not nice. But got my strapping off tomorrow so gonna talk to the nurse. Hang in there. I stopped taking all painkillers on day 4 as I felt normal again. You’ll be fine 🙂 xx

    Day 3-4 were the worst for me . I went to the cinema on day 6 . Hope your feeling better soon xx

    wishing you a speedy recovery!
    I’m dreading the sleep part! I’ve been trying to sleep upright for weeks, after about 2-3 hours of struggling I give up and lay down flat or on my side. I’m dreading the day I can’t actually do this!

    Thanks so much girls. Getting better but the pain is my left boob is driving me nuts. This boob is completely numb but it feels like my skin is about to rip open 🙁 xx

    Hope your okay eve! I will your pain. It takes me half hour to manage to sit up and when I do there’s a squelching noise I’m not sure what this is… Does anyone know it’s because I haven’t had drains?? Xx

    Thinking of you eve, it’ll get better babe! I had drains in and whilst they were in I lost a lot of blood, but since then I haven’t had that kind of feeling, guess it depends though. Quite a few girls seem to have had it:/ x

    I had a very squelcy right boob it was also very swollen. Ice pack religiously over 2 days sorted it x
