Do you have to scrub off all your fake tan? Or could I get away with just not tanning near where they cut you open?
I also have micro bonded extensions in, would they have to come out?
Also I wear individual eye lashes do they need to come off?
Also I’ve been heard when u have your op you have drains? Is this true?

    Thank you lovelies x X

I was told no make up, fake tan, nail polish etc and they checked all this when I first arrived so I wouldn’t risk it as you could delay your surgery x

The last time I had surgery I was allowed to keep my gel nails on as long as my toe nails were clear so they can monitor any change in colour to the surface. With them being gel overlays there is no possibility of paint flaking off or a false tip coming loose so they were quite relaxed. They also let me tape over my belly piercing rather than remove it. I guess each hospital/surgeon has their own rules.
I also have individual lash extensions @Bethaa but they are no more likely to fall off or cause any more issues than a natural lash coming loose so I’m going to keep them on! I’m at an event the day before my op (Sunday) so i think I’m going to be scrubbing in the shower that night to get my tan off ready for the morning, not sure I’d have chance to soak nails off though – bit concerned now! I’ve got my second consultation and pre-op this afternoon so going to ask my PC x

Do you actually have to micro bond extensions out?
I was hoping I would be able to keep them in as they aren’t metal?

Also I am going to have to do the same the night before, scrubbing all the fake tan off. Its the most annoying thing ever, no matter how hard you try to get it all off, always end up with some of it still on :/

I don’t know, I’ve messaged my nurse to see what she says. Cause I’ve literally just paid nearly 500 pound for my bonds. They are plastic so I don’t see the big deal .. @claire-marie

Also thank you everyone for your help !!!! Not really that fussed about tan and lashes it’s just more my extensions due to just paying 500 pound for them xxx

I just had my lashes removed, I don’t have my op for another 4 weeks but wanted my lashes to heal and I feel like an albino haha,

Reckon they’ll be less strict with lashes? I’m regretting this and tempted to have them back on, in 4 weeks they’ll be back to basics ????

    +1

I spoke to the nurse yesterday and she said I’d be fine with my individual lash extensions as they look really natural and to just not say they were extensions. She also said if I left my toe nails polish free, had a very pale/nude colour on my nails and left one clear (little finger) then I’d be fine! Really having second thoughts about having my tan the week before though as that is more of a risk in terms of infection, and one I don’t want to take x

I had Mr Netri and I had drains after surgery.. I don’t cope very well after my surgery so they didn’t take the drains out until I was ready to leave at around 9:30pm at night. They don’t feel to bad it’s just uncomfortable when being removed xxx
