i found it really hard on here as it was all boob jobs and no one talking about tummy tucks! well 10 days post op now from tt and ba so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask x

hi hun i’m thinking of having a tummy tuck.i’m a mum of 2 and i hate my stomach.just wondered which type of tummy tuck u had and how much it was if u don’t mind me asking.x

Amanda hi I had a full tummy tuck except they didn’t stitch my muscles I was quoted £5800 but got it down to £5200 as I was payin in full and because originally they said I would only need a mini tummy tuck
I’m now 6 weeks PO tummy tuck, lipo and BA. Best thing I ever did 🙂
Hi really, I’m 2 weeks post op now and today they have taken my dressings off could I ask were the sides if your incision on your stomach puckered at all? As I wasn’t expecting to see this, the nurse said they will go down but I’m not so sure and how long did it take for your belly button to settle?x
Hi Hun yes they were, and told the same one side is still bad but the other gone down I have been told that it will in time, I am friends with a girl who had hers done in July with Mya and hers have gone now 🙂
My belly button is a lot better it looked like a monkeys bum hole to start with!
I will put some new pics on today and u can have. A look at what 6 weeks PO looks like x
Yeh that would be great as MYA didn’t en up showing any pics of tummy tucks. Also did u find that that your ‘bikini line’ is higher up? I know it sounds gross but I know I didn’t used to have to have my knickers as high up to cover everything! Sorry for all the details but just wasnt expecting it. Who was your surgeon?x
Hi Hun, yes my bikini line is much higher, I knew he was going to tighten everything up from down their not quite sure how I thought he was going to do it lol, the line and scar will drop a little though over the next 6 to 12 months so shouldn’t be do high mine has already dropped some. I had me traynor, just uploading some pics for u now x

That’s good if you’ve noticed it’s dropped. I was panicking that I was gonna have to spend more money on permanent hair removal lol. Aww thankyou for been so helpful, it’s nice to finally get to chat with someone that’s had a tummy tuck. Yeh I had mr traynor too x
Hi hun fianlly got a couple of new pics up, some are upside down for some reason lol. It is good to talk to someone who has been through the same, Mya put me intouch with a girl before I had it done we are quite good friends now, I dont know what I would have done with out her, I have been so up and down since having it done! Some days I regret it but thats only because I have had trouble walking etc I had extensive repairs done to my muscles so has been hard, Im sort of seeing the benefits now although clothes that actually fit before are too small at the min! Going back to the gym on monday and will get a bikini body before next summer lol, I just expected over night results being normal after 2 weeks and being in a fab little black number for xmas (thats not going to happen!)

Your scar is very neat on the new pics, I need to take pics of my tummy but just haven’t wanted to at all. Did u get any infections or anything? On one of my sides it looks line it had a bit if an infection so the nurse just out an iodine dressing on it and told me to keep an eye on it. I Darnt take it off now though just Incase it’s still not settled! I didn’t have lipo but was that expensive? Thinking if maybe having it done on my bum and thighs at some point. I just can’t wait to be able to just get out if bed without it been a military operation lol x

ok thanks i think apart from not been able to get comfy in bed still, when do you start to feel normal again lol. Im getting the worst back pain at night time. How are you getting on? My sides seem like they are finally starting to settle now but my scar is still a lot higher than i thought it would be. Did u have a good xmas?x

Think I was about 6/7 weeks when I started to feel more comfortable at night. At 6 weeks I started back at the gym but only gentle walking, cross trainer etc, no running and it’s def made a difference being more active, I am completely comfortable now, can lay on any side even my tummy. Been really ill over Xmas with flu, which has obviously worked my muscles so they have swollen a little again as I had quite extensive repairs done to them so I’m feeling that but that’s it now. Iv tried a few bikinis on and my scar sits under then do although it is higher than I expected its low enough to be covered so that’s good enough god me x
hi sorry only just got to my computer.my scar seems quite high really. hows your belly button going in? when i went for my 6 week check they told me to keep my compression garment on for a bit longer to help my belly button go in a bit more? was thinking of trying to pack it with cotton wool or something. I didnt have my muscles stitched but y stomach is still a bit tender feels like when youve exercised to much? are u getting the same?x
Hey Hun u sure they didn’t stitch up your muscles? I still know when I have done too much like u say just like too much exercise not painful but it’s there! I’m seeing mr traynor next thurs so gunna mention my belly button again it just doesn’t look right it looks like a monkeys bum hole but now the monkey has piles lol
I never had a compression garment!
Well he said he wasn’t going to stitch then and when I woke up it was hurting so asked him if he had and he said no, they were already stiff as a board? You had no compression garment? Didn’t they give you one? I couldn’t get mine on until about 4 weeks after so instead just wore my old fat pants to keep it supported till I could get the garment they have me on, they said that was fine. Wearing the garment they have really helped put the insicion on onto side as it was really stuck out on one side till I started wearing that. They are pretty uncomfortable though x
Not seeing mr traynor till the 20th feb so will ask about my belly button too x
