I have used the Chelmsford clinic in order to get a breast enlargement in the London surgery. I had no issues with the procedure and healed fine afterwards. I am however, absolutely disgusted with the way that I have been treated by MYA following later complications with my breast scar. Two years later it recurrently becomes inflamed and extremely painful. I was lead to believe that I would be covered for five years after for any subsequent complications.

However, upon arranging visits for check ups and nurses seeing how much pain and discomfort the inflamed scar is causing me – I was referred to a separate hospital for an ultrasound without explanation as to what it might be. I was then told I would have to pay over £250 for the ultrasound which is absolutely disgraceful considering I was supposed to be covered for five years after my op!

I am currently a student and unable to afford the cost of this scan and I feel completely disregarded as a customer at MYA as I continue to be in great discomfort as a result of this.

I would not recommend this company to ANYONE as it has left me in an awful situation where I am extremely concerned about my health. The terms and conditions to my consumer agreement have been breached and elements of services I have paid for previously have not been available to me.
