I’m 4 weeks post op and I’m still tender on my sides of my boobs (under my arms). Feels bruised but there’s no bruising from outside that I can see. I’m not sure if it’s normal or not. I was gonna post a similar thing so hopefully someone will be able to tell us it is xx

@iamamy Hun, do you mind if I add you? I was originally having Mr Gonschior but he’s left! Trying to find another surgeon now as MYA won’t give me my deposit back; even though it wasn’t my fault it was cancelled! Not a happy bunny! Would love to see your results xx

I weighed myself a week after surgery and burst into tears! I gained 7lbs! I found I was craving comfort food and feeling sorry for myself because I couldn’t do much. It’s seemed to have evened out now and I’m about 3lbs heavier. I’m hoping that once I get back into exercise, etc. it will move quickly! I’m sure they say it’s about 2lbs you gain with implants. xxx

I have deleted said person based on what’s been said and surprise, surprise, they’ve tried to add me again. I’m a little concerned and have removed pictures from my profile because I’m worried now. I wish MYA had some way of authenticating users as it’s worrying to think it could be anyone looking our pictures! I know we’re all aware of e-safety but please be careful with this person, girls! They’re persistent! Apologies to the person if they are genuine but at the moment I have no reason to believe they are!!!

Yeah, I know they sometimes like to keep it on for as long as possible but if it’s causing you pain, I’d definitely ring. I hope it’s sorted for you soon hun. It makes such a difference when it’s all off! xxx

How long have you had your strapping on for? The nurse removed mine a day early but that was because I was having burning sensations in my boobs, like they were on fire! She had to check for infection but my strapping was off by day 4 post op. Maybe ring and see if she can get you in earlier. Xx

Hi girls, thank you all. It’s good to know that others are getting it but not nice that we are! Just a little reassuring that I know it’s part of the healing process. Hope you’re all doing well and thanks again. My next appointment with the nurse is my 6 week check on 7th May so I’m guessing the little steri-strips will have fallen off by then.

I took multivitamins before my op but was advised to stop taking anything for two weeks before my surgery (vitamins, contraceptive pill, etc.). I am back to taking them as normal afterwards. I’m taking iron, zinc and vitamin A&D; vitamin E is my main one especially as I know it’s good for my skin. I’d double check with the nurse when you have your pre-op appointment as advice varies. I know a lot of girls advise to take arnica tablets pre and post op to help with bruising. I didn’t take these and haven’t suffered too much with bruising. Just depends on you as an individual. Hope it goes well for you xx

My nipples were HUGE to begin with. They’re slowly going down as I’m getting further into recovery. I hated mine when the nurse took my strapping off! They looked so swollen and pointy. But now, I’m loving them and I know they’ll only get better! They will for you too hun. They’re an alien thing to us at the moment but you’ll learn to love them and the most exciting thing about it is that we have boobs now! If you were anything like me, I couldn’t stand looking at my boobs before so anything now is a massive improvement! You’ll love them once they start dropping/fluffing and become more of you 🙂 xxx

I have found that bruises are popping up in places I didn’t know I had them. I’m guessing it’s just how your body is adjusting, but from what I can see your bruising looks like it’s going away as it’s yellowish in colour. Did you speak to your nurse about your arms were burning hun? Your incisions look to be healing well too hun. I’ve still got those strips on mine xxx

They look lovely! I have serious boob greed as I wish I’d have gone bigger. Yours really suit your frame; I wouldn’t say you need bigger. Have you any idea of what size you are yet? xx

@beakysbird That’s good to hear. It’s the same for me. Can’t believe how quickly I recovered to be honest. Just shows that our bodies are amazing things! Can’t wait to get completely back to normal though. Haha xx

I suppose when we are resting during the night, our bodies are trying to get things back to normal/adjust. Hope all of your recoveries are going well apart from this. I found Macom was best for me. I had bought two shock absorbers as well but I’ve since found that they don’t fit (waste of money for me now). It’s difficult to predict your size so I found it easier to select my back size and go from there. I haven’t had any problems with my Macoms. They are expensive but worth the money. Other than that, I know my friend had a medical Z-Bra and found that worked for her xxx
