Happy New Year girlies.

I’m feeling much better about my boobs now. Scarring is really really red when I come out of shower, but actually quite pale when I wake up in the morning and when i wear loose fitting bras and clothing.

I have been sleeping with a bra on mostly when I’m sleeping alone (Ha!) and that helps with the support and perkiness. I’m coming round to liking them a bit more now.

Week 8 – All stitches out, scabs almost gone. Still quite red, can sleep on side and pain is a lot less which is great.

Here are my week 7 photo updates. My scabs were not healing over properly, so the nurse hand picked the stitches out and removed the scabs in order to allow the wounds to heal properly. They’re much better, but still very very red.

Hey babe, sorry to hear you’re unhappy. Can you post some pics? I’m 9 weeks post uplift and i’m too worried about scarring. What have you been putting on the scars to make them better? xx

6 weeks – STILL scabbing and scars are violently red. Have to back next week when scabs are off as only then can i start using the scar serums and creams.

What incision did you have this time around? Was it the anchor cut? Around the nipple, down the middle and underneath?

They’re gonna look even better when they settle.

i know these images are quite gruesome to look at, but just for your information, I bruise really easily. I always have, my entire life. I have very sensitive skin too, hence the redness and swelling. This is the worst the pictures will be, I promise!

Thanks for sharing the before and afters. Are those pics from the first surgery you had or the most recent? Are you happy with them? Who was your surgeon?

Thanks for your share. Your boobies are looking fantastic.

For some reason, mine are taking quite a while to heal. I am now at 6 weeks (pics attached) and there is still visible scabs AND stitches which have not yet dissolved.

Its amazing how much better they look now, but I am still deeply nervous about scarring. my scars are deeply red and purple and argh!!! Everyone else at 6 weeks look almost perfectly healed.

I’m trying to remain positive.

That’s amazing Jessica, congratulations. I’m having an uplift and reduction and i’m super nervous about the scarring. Glad it all went for you though. Hope recovery is ok for you x
