Hi hun, I dont have tubular breasts so your circumstances are different to mine but I was offered 375 / 400. I was so undecided about what to go for .. everyone on here told me to do 400. I went with 375.. my reason was .. I didnt want to look too big! It might only be a teaspoon but in my head I mentally felt more comfortable going with the smaller number. So you do what’s right for you. I’m 17 dpo and I am SO happy. In clothes and a sports bra you cant even tell I’ve had it done.. which is what I wanted! But I now look bloody amazing in a bikini. I am so so happy with my new boobs .. I feel like they are the best pair of boobs ever!! Good luck with whatever you decide to choose.. and if you’re unsure maybe see Mr Traynor again and ask for his advice especially with regards to going bigger due to them being tubular xxx

Hi hun, I think the pain is relative to you and your personal pain threshold! I always thought I had a poor pain threshold but have since discovered I do not! I was off painkillers by day 2 and aside from the strapping being a royal pain in the ass I was fine. Keep on top of your pain relief, there is no need to be in pain. Codeine and paracetamol is the one! Good luck xoxo

I’m 8 dpo and was told I didn’t need to wear my bra over my strapping.. his strapping is very tight anyway.. I would maybe call your patient coordinator to check as maybe there’s a reason you need to where both. I had partials.

The nurse wouldn’t let me take mine off either ugh only a few days left girls. Mine are on until Wednesday but over half way now. Mine are definitely achey but I honestly don’t know of its just the strapping.. I feel like that’s causing me more nuisance than actually having the implants and my skin is SO itchy!!

My strapping came loose too which is why the nurse used the white paper tape on me which seems to have been what has caused the blisters! I think I might try and put my Macom back on.

I have been managing to sleep on my back with 2 pillows and then my v pillow on top. I’m trying to just take the codeine on a night as it makes me sleepy and so I find it helps. I get my mum to help juggle my cushions around until I am comfy! Hope you get a better sleep tonight !! Xx

I have a waist trainer to support my back and plan to do uphill walking in the treadmill wearing my trainer from about 2-3 weeks. No heavy lifting or anything over head though. Just nice gentle brisk walking. It’s not worth the risk. All that effort and surgery … I wouldn’t want to mess it up

Yes @emily. I noticed my back was wet today and my mum checked and it has blistered and is weeping ! When they took my drains out the strapping was loose so she retaped me with the thin white paper tape and I think that’s what’s causing me the trouble. We have trimmed it to an inch and have also trimmed under the armpits and along the top of my boobs.. Just a few mm and I’ve had much more relief. It’s awful though ????

I had mine done on Sunday. My baby is 8 months old. I’ve got help for 2 weeks, my mum is living with me. You won’t be able to lift your baby but I am quite mobile aside from that xx

I had 375cc hp partials. The nurse said some sports bras wouldn’t for over the strapping and I don’t think my m&s one will because of the shape of it. The Macom fits though xxx

Oh and the nurse said i didnt need to wear sports bra but I’ve put my macom on just to give my back some support as the strapping is pulling my shoulders forward like i said in previous post! xx

@Emily I must have been just after you! My op was at 3.30 yesterday. How are you finding the strapping? Mine feels so tight that it rolls my shoulders forward and gives me terrible posture!! Also, its really high up in my armpits too. Not due to get mine off until next Wednesday.. ugh. My op went really well though. I’ve put some pics of my strapping on my profile. Codeine is bloating me like crazy today but not too bad pain wise xxx

    Hey @vee

I just had my breast augmentation 12 hours ago! I honestly feel fine.. I think it’s the awkward sleeping position that is the worst thing. I just woke to pop some cocodamol to hope it will knock me back out and help me sleep again. I guess it’s something I will get used to. Haven’t picked up the children (an almost 3 year old and a 8 month old). My 3 year old is quite self sufficient but I have recruited help from various people for the first 2 weeks. My mum from day 0-10 is living with me and my cousin from day 10-14. The nurse told me it’s just not worth the risk so try your best to get as much help as you can. Post 2 weeks I plan to let me 3 year old climb in/out of her own car seat etc. Just be conscious of your wounds, no matter how good you feel. I’m up and about already.. first 2 hours post op I stood up and went green ???? but now feel absolutely fine. Xx
