Today was the day I got my boobies, and I couldn’t be happier ? – MYA have been absolutely amazing, the nurses are brilliant, Dr G Andrea fantastic!

I had my operation this morning at London Fitzroy. My admission time was 9am, as soon as I arrived I was taken to my room – not sharing with anyone – and told to change in the most unflattering knickers and gown. And then asked for a sample for a pregnancy test.
Dr Andeas came to see me, and marked my body, then took some pictures, he was lovely and very friendly ?
I waited an hour and was taken down to theatre. All I remember is speaking to the nurse while the anaesthetic was give (it doesn’t hurt I promise). I woke up at 1 in recovery and was taken back to my room by 1:30.

I had no sickness, only a dull pain but I was very very dizzy ? And light headed. The nurses were fab – helped me get up and go to the loo ( I couldn’t open the door or flush the loo)

The pain is bearable – I’m 5ft size size 6 very petite 42kg, I had 375cc in both HP UNDERs, only have a breast band on with my sports bra, no strapping. Dr said he used dissolvable stitches.
I’ve had no pain killers yet, but from what I’ve read the following day may be painful.

Good luck to you all that have booked an op and I hope this was helpful for girls that are planning to.

I’ll upload pics when I get home. Overall experience has been excellent – I can’t fault MYA.

I’m having 375 cc partials with Andrea in July I’m so excited so happy to hear good things about him your new boobies look amazing !!! Happy healing they look amazing ! X

@holly Dr Andrea is the best! Very friendly and he gets excited with you ? He listened to everything I said and explained everything perfectly. And then I asked to go bigger and he agreed ? I’m in love with my boobs!

@bassett28 thank you ? I was okay yday even went to eat in London before I went home – I felt the pain when I woke up this morning you forget how much we use our arms just to get in and out of bed! x

Congrats hun, glad you had such a good experience- they look fab already. My admission was at 10am yesterday and didnt go down until half 3! I agree Dr Andrea was fab, such a nice straight talking surgeon. Just wandering did he come in to see you after your op? I was the last pateint to go down to theatre so he left as soon as i was done, I literally have no idea what he even done and as i was a reop I would have liked a bit of info as to what the problem actually was… i havent been given any info on what to do post op either if you could help??

@laura omg! We were there at the same time! I was 3rd on the list o think but I was go go go when I arrived at 9am!
I saw Dr Andrea after the op around about 5:30 ish I was so out of it so can’t remember for sure – he told me what implant I had and checked my breastband. Another male nurse came and gave me my medicine – and I was told by the nurses on duty to sleep upright, wear my breast band 24/7 and bra, it was quite brife TBH I was given a post op leaflet I can forward to u if u want? Xx

aw thats lucky, i wish i went down sooner i was starving ha. if you wouldnt mind to forward it please hun that will be great. i dont want to wait until my post op meeting to find out! i have slept upright and will be keeping my bra on 24.7. I dont have a breast band for some reason! Did you have unders? Also how long do we keep these stockings on for lol??
