So gutted. My op is 30 days away, I was all ready mentally and have all my post op stuff ready and I was told last week that I have to have an emergency op on my leg (I thought it was only a torn ligament but actually need an op and have a cast will struggle to walk unaided for 6 weeks! ?) As the dates clash and I have to prioritise being able to walk without pain I have had to postpone my BA and I’m SO SAD!
As I’m a teacher the summer hols was the only time I could do it recovery-wise, so now I have to wait til Christmas ? So annoying. Trying to be positive and think that the extra time means that I can get mobile again and lose the weight I have gained since not being able to exercise or walk easily so I will be happier with my BA results…..plus maybe it will be easier and more comfortable with strapping in cold winter than hot summer…..? I don’t know….trying to find the silver lining! ?

Sorry to hear that but I’m sure the time will go by fast .once the summers holidays have gone by Christmas is just around the corner. Have you thought about the October half term ? Could that be an option. Good luck with your leg and the boobies

Thanks @Maxine21 ….I hope it does go fast. I only have a week in October and have a holiday booked! So it will be Christmas where I get 3weeks off so perfect timing again!

So sorry to hear that Ally, I know you were really looking forward to it 🙁 But you’re right, that is a silver lining – at least by Christmas you’ll have had time to get to your ideal target weight which will make everything a little bit more exciting maybe? x
