Hi ladies anyone know if you put down 2000 can you get zero percent finance? Also what checks do they do? Do you need to show bank statements etc? Thanks in advance :)

Get a 0% cradit card from M&S or Halifax, you’ll get 15 months to pay without interest! The max you can get on a loan is 12 months with an excellent credit rating xx

That sounds good hun but im looking to get about 7.5k as im having nose and boobs and as ive been living in aus for 9months by the time i come home i will have enough for deposit but i have no uk bank statements so ideally want somewhere where the checks arent too strict i am going back to my old job in the uk so will have the money but want op first so i dont need to take more time off, what a dilemma lol. Thanks hun though i might end up doing that if i cant get money before going back to work xx

Hi, I doubt you will get 0% as you wont have a recent credit rating and long term regular employment….and if its not paid in 12 months the interest is massive! I think the only lenders that arent too strict are the ones with high interest…you could look into it, you should find one somewhere, but most require you to be a home owner xx

i got a 7.5k loan from tesco at 6.1% over 5 years (you could get less but I wanted low payments) it was so easy to apply and I had been declined by a few others but Tesco came to the rescue!! x

Hi Kat1986 – I have my surgeon consultation tomorrow in Glasgow and I am petrified that I wont get the credit from the loan company – I dont have the best credit rating at all :( What other companies did you try? Fingers crossed Tesco can pull through for me :)How long did it take for you to have the money? Sorry to bombard you with questions :) xx

it was so easy with Tesco. You just did it all online and they didnt want to see any wage slips or bank statements etc. i think my credit rating is pretty good but I dont really earn much (10k) as im only part time.

Id steer clear from M&S as they seem really strict also HSBC didnt want to know me even though im a customer.

Santander might be a good shot, they accepted me for 5k but declined me for 7.5k.

I honestly think you will stand the best chance with Tesco from my experience. Money was in my account within a couple of days (and spent within a couple of days lol!) i couldnt say what they were like with bad credit though.

    Good luck ladies xxx

Oooh thanks at least there is hope for me then as its not looking likely that i could get a joint applicant. Thats reassuring Kat might give them a go. Staceyanne Ive heard that Mario Russo and Mr Fallahdar do both hun xx

I applied through First Medical Loans who MYA use for £2000 because I already had the rest. It was over 12 months interest free. They provisionally accepted me and then asked for bank statements and wage slips. They then declined me. Didn’t say why. So Tesco is prob the best option for you cos I’ve heard FML are quite strict. Oh thanks Jade theres no way id get 7.5k then if they declined you for 2! I think im gonna apply for tesco tonight hopefully should be ok given im out of the country lol ive tried asking mum if she would apply but she seems to think that it would be her paying for it i know essentially it would be but obviously ill pay her so really she wont pay but i guess they dont see it like that i suppose its understandable as the loan would be in her name but im good with money and earn way more here than i did at home so could easily pay! Frustrating :( xx

If it was a joint application, it would be both of ur names but you could just have the money out of your account, that’s what mine was going to be. I also know someone that used their Mums name for the loan, the first payment came out of their mums account and then MYA switched it to their bank account. This was with v12 that MYA was using. So maybe other loan companies would be the same?! Not sure. I’m going to try tescos but going to wait a bit cos don’t want too many credit checks on my history cos that goes against you. Good luck. Xx

Oh and for 7.5k, FML will want you to be a homeowner. A girl on here had that problem, they provisonally approved her and then said no because she wasn’t a homeowner. Xx

Oh yeah thats a good point maybe other loan companies will do this. How come you didnt get your loan with v 12 in the end hun? Xx
