    Had my unders done yesterday and the right one hurts a lot more than the left. The nipple is red and swollen much more so than the other. This is the boob that hurt a bit when they lulled out the drain. Is this normal?

    Also I’ve not slept a wink. Couldn’t find a comfy position, my bum hurts, and kept waking with a start every time dropped off.

    Also I can’t seem to wee normally, I sort of have to squeeze it out (gross sorry!). Is it because of the anaeshetic?

    Hello, I’ve heard lots say that although u have two boobs they r still separate for healing. Could be why ones is feeling different than the other. I’m still Pre op so not much help really sorry just wanted to let u know.

    Sleeping must be a pain I’m not looking forward to that myself! I guess it will take some time to get used to.

    I’m sure when the rest of the world is up :) ull get better help :)

    Huni yes totally its down to the healing different. Remember they prob look good from the outside but u have a lot of trauma going on inside. lm 7 weeks and my brusing comes out time to time because l am bruised within. Hope this makes sense.

    Regards to sleep l found it comfier sleeping downstairs in the lounge with my V pillow or sleep little flatter my nurse said this was fine. ANother good thing that helped me to bring swelling down is ice packs that was the best relief.

    Hi hun, not sure about the wee bit but I had one worse than the other in the first few days which also hurt a little more when the drain was pulled out. It has turned out to be the one that’s healed the best 2wks later lol, so dont worry hun you will feel different kinds of pains in diff places for a few weeks with unders.

    Like vicky, the sofa was best for me the first few nights too, try that hun.

    Are you keeping yourself hydrated with lots of fluids?xx

    I couldn’t go to the toilet at all for about 48 hrs. My body retained everything! And I put on 7lbs! It will get better, promise xx
