Hi ladies, I haven’t logged on for a while, been really busy with kid’s and all. I just wanted to ask – if anyone else has one breast larger than the other? I’m now 4 weeks post op and i’ve noticed that my right breast is visibly larger than my left. I’m now getting worried that it might stay like this! Has anyone else experienced this? Will they go to an equal size? OMG I’m proper stressing out coz they looked so odd when i tried on a vest top today with the sports bra on and without. xx

    Hi Max

If one is bigger than the other and it hasnt corrected itself then surely you shouldn’t have to pay have them redone, if i was you i would ring and tell them.

The place where i had mine done have said that they will do any corrective surgery free of charge if i have not acheived the desired look i wanted.

I hope they sort it out, they should do, not your fault that one is bigger, its the surgeon who put the implants in and advised on size.

    hi ladies,

    please dont panic!!

im 8 weeks post op, and from the first day i saw my boobs with no dressings on i had one visably bigger than the other, i’ve been keeping an eye on it, and now they are starting to even out. mya gave me loads of info and did say this was bound to happen so please dont worry, if you are maybe ask your nurse?

i was told that sometimes it can take months for your boobs to full settle and go soft? xx

I HAD MINE DONE SEPOT LAST YEAR, AND I HAVE ONE BIGGER THAN THE OTHER, I DONT THINK THERE IS MUCH THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT, AS YOUR OWN NATURAL BOOBS ALWAYS HAVE ONE BIGGER THAN THE OTHER. ONCE THEY SETTLE THOUGH THEY,LL LOOK MORE IN PROPORTION. PLUS ITS HARD FOR THEM TO GET THEM 100 PERCENT SYMETRICAL X

hi girls, not been on for a while as been very busy with work, but had to reply to this. i had ba 24th feb and am going back to newcastle on wednesday to see consultant as my left looks smaller than the right. at first they seemed even but as the swelling went down i started to notice the difference. i’ve left it to see if they would even out but cant ignore it anymore as am so unhappy about it. i’ll let you know what the consultant says x x

Hey all, thanku sooooooo much for all the feedback. I called my nurse today to ask her – she said not to worry too much as it’s early days yet and that they will change a fair bit over time. Also because each breast is classed as a two separate operations they will heal and settle at different rates. I suppose it helps to know. But i still feel weird and a little scared, just praying that somehow they fall into place properly, don’t know what i’ll do if they dont settle!

Hey Gillian i had mine done with Marion Grob @ Mya-highgate I had 410th overs. Xxxx

I got to say though, despite my concerns, that Marion did a great job and she was really professional and truthful as to what to expect from surgery.

Yes, I had this as well as lots of the other things that new BA girls are experiencing!!! I worried and worried and drove myself mad even rang the aftercare nurse for advice. If I remember right it was my right boob that was bigger, harder and higher. After this I had ‘wrinkling’ it was like one thing then another.

I can tell you now it will be a while before your boobs truly settle but when they do they will feel back to normal, but of course much nicer and firmer! I guess they have to settle into your skin really. Don’t forget you need to get used to them as well.
