I had my operation yesterday morning. Arrived at the hospital at 7:30am and was told I was first in. The nurse admitted me and I was then took down to theatre at 8:30am and came round in recovery about 10:30am. Aside from the painkillers I must have had when I was under anaesthetic, I didn’t have anything else until about 7pm when she came to take my drains out. My surgeon came to see me and said it had gone really well and that he had put 440cc in ( I can’t remember if he said 340 or 440 so I will have to ask when I see him on the 27th to have my strapping taken off). I then got home at about 8:30pm so it was a very long day but I felt great for it.
I have been on very little pain meds since I got home, only taking paracetamol and ibuprofen every 6ish hours just to keep on top of it but touch wood I am in no pain, just that my chest feels heavy.
I am in love with my new boobs from what I have seen although they are starting to bruise now. If anyone wants to ask anything then I am more than happy to answer! It has been such a better experience than I would have ever expected and Mr Fahmy was the loveliest man going 🙂
