    Hi girls,

    I was just wondering what is going to happen at my check up tonight?

    People have mentioned having stitches took out…i thought they were dissolvable!

    If this is the case does it hurt?

    Will i be able to shower after the check up?!!

    Please help girls x

    depends wot surgeon u have hunny, if teyve said dissolvable they wil bo. ive got my 1 week check up at 12 :) cant wait to get plasters off xx ill msg u when im home and let u know if ur on xx

    Hi Jess… I was told several times that I would have dissolvable stitches…

    I went to see the nurse last week & nope they were not! I had Mr Chantarasak…

    It didnt hurt at all. she just made a snip in the end & pulled them out…

    I showered the next morning but I asked her for more strips to put on the incisions.. im really worried about my bra rubbing on them.. good luck tonight x

    Ooo Riggers that sounds scary .. can you feel them being pulled through your skin?

    Oh no riggers – guess that means mine won’t be dissolvable either?! Does it feel like a relief to have them out? Not having mine out till sat! They’re driving me a bit crazy now! Xx

    Hey… they do it so quick honestly you dont really feel anything.. dont worry honest!

    I showered i think that evening with Johnsons top to toe wash…but had my back to the shower… still had the strips on as they are reusable which is great..

    I am gonna leave it the full 2 weeks & be brave & go without the strips… x

    Hi chrissy… It feels weird at first cause they take off your strapping underneath too obviously that has been holding you up for a week or so…. My incisions look good but are feeling really sore since,.its to be expected I guess… good luck Saturday..x

    Thanks – hadn’t thought of then feeling sore but I suppose theyre going to be rubbing on bra where they were covered before! Oh well – has to come off sometime I guess! Xx
