Hi girlies!
Bit of a long post sorry in advance haha.
So I had my op last Saturday with Linda and I am so happy with how the day went and everything about Linda and the MYA staff and how my recovery is going so far!
My admission was 7am, I was first to go down at around 8:30 I would say??
For those of you that don’t know, this isn’t my first BA, I wrote a post about it which you can find on this forum if you click on my profile! But basically I had a BA in 2014 with a different surgeon at MYA and I wasn’t happy with my results, they were way too big. So I chose to explant, then reimplant at a later date.
I knew straight away I wanted Linda to be my surgeon for my new implants, as her work is amazing!!
She came to see me before my op to do drawings etc and to discuss implant sizes as a couple had been ordered. She’d ordered 250 and 275 in high profile and mod plus and would decide during the op. She said it was because of where my scars are from my previous op which are lower than my natural crease, so she used 275 hp under the muscle in the end which is perfect as that was exactly what i wanted ?
Woke up in a lot of pain from the op but was given pain relief. The nurses were amazing in the MYA Fitzroy!! The only two whose names I can remember were Esther and Rowena so thankyou ladies for everything!!
Travelled home on Sunday and have been in a lot of pain and really struggled this week! I had overs before so knew having unders this time would be more painful but OMG….!!! Morning boob is a real thing ? it’s all bearable though and the pain will be worth it in the end!
Had my check up on Friday and all went well, the nurse at the Bristol clinic Joanna is amazing too! Been given the ok to fake tan as long as i avoid my boobies so thats good haha i can’t live without my tan!! Went and got my nails done after and have painted my toes so feeling more like me again ???
Heres a couple photos so far, taken on friday so 6 days post op! Healing really well so far and so pleased with how they are looking!
