1 week post op..do i massage boobs and scar….. Started by: cara180

Hi Hun I was told at my 1 week check up that I could start using bio oil on scars after 2 weeks but to put bio oil or moisturising cream on them avoiding the scar area she said that is fine so I have been doing it twice aday x

I was told to push mine together firmly and to also massage them in a firm, circular motion… This has helped so much as the left one was particularly tight and hard still after the first week. Since doing that once a day with bio oil, I’ve found that they are now more or less level and similar in firmness. Only just yesterday (3 weeks post op) have I started to put the bio oil on the actual scars. I was a little concerned that as the breast implants drop and fluff the skin may suffer with stretch marks but that doesn’t seem to be the case and bio oil shoud definitely help avoid that.

Ye thats what i was told to do i darednt touch my scars yet they are still a bit scabby! only 2 weeks to go then i can use bio oil on my scars! xxx
