I’m 1 week post op and can’t believe how long ago it seems since I had them done, they’re like babies and you just can’t imagine/remember what they were like before!!

Getting my strapping off tomorrow, thank god – been driving me mad.

At the moment, i’m getting funny stinging like shooting sensation through my nipples, even though they’re numb this sensation happens when something touches them. For those people who had this feeling, how long did it last…

How did people feel about the look of their boobs once the straps came off, were they bigger/smaller than you thought??

Will I be able to shower normally tomorrow??

…and how long was it until you felt ‘normal’ everyday and had forgotten that you’d even had surgery.. i’ve not had a great deal of pain or anything but i’m very aware of them, particularly in a morning – when do they actually start to feel your own??

    Cheers girlies :D xx

Well, even though no replies, I’ll post what I thought when straps came off…

….a BIG HUGE RELIEF!!! I can now get up without feeling crippled and I absolutely LOVE my boobs, they look bigger without the straps so double bonus…

..oh ye, and they feel my own, made up – thank you MYA!! :D

Hi Emily glad all’s well. I’m 12 days post op now. Got my tapes off last thurs and my boobs looked huge but love them. Was prev 34a/b and got 340cc overs. Now wearing 36dd sports bra. Managed to shower as normal once tapes off. Had no pain until yest and my right boob more swollen than left which is normal but pain cos I’ve overdone it slightly with having no pain I thought I could do stuff and prob overstretched a bit. Just taking it easy now for next few days xx

Ye think I’ve done the same.. I’m in more pain this week than I was last week but I’ve acted as normal since last Thursday at only 4 days post-op, feel really achey but can’t even consider taking it easy cause there’s only me and my lil boy at home so still gotta run around after him – hard work int it…

I tried driving for the first time last night, ouch! Hurt me to change gears and turn the steering wheel – only short journeys for me for a few more days!! :(

Hope you’re well, it’s great to actually have boobs tho int it – make it all worthwhile x

I’m just taking all my painkillers which does help but when they wear off… Oucha!! I’ve an 18 month little boy at home too which isn’t easy. Although hubby been great and made lunches etc b4 his work it’s still not easy cos he’s a very active little boy. Got my mum here today so I’m basically doing nothing. I can’t even get in the shower it’s too sore at the mo. All worthwhile to have boobies though. How olds ur little one? Xx

Well today I feel much better, apart from first thing in the morning i’m actually startin to forget they’re even there!!

My lil boy is gone just 3, he was still asking to be carried in and out of the car before the op but thanks to my op i’ve got him out of the habit, yeeeeay – so pleased as he was being a spoilt lil monkey.

    U feelin any better today?x
