    I can only book 1 week off work and im worried its not enough! My job involves alot of bikeing everyday and i dont want to be in loads of pain after my op. I might loose my job if i take any more time off! dnt know what to do :/

    Have you considered having a medical note that explains that you can return to work but can only do light duties??

    Anything medical would have to be confidentail.

    i got a note from my doctor saying post operative stress,that bought me an extra 2 weeks i felt great when i went back.

    Hun l would not think u would be able to go bac that soon, l went back 9 days after my op and basically sit all day and was really sore by afternoon. When l saw my nurse after day 13 she said l done too much. Like the other girls say u should get a docs note to sign u off. l was in the same sort of situation as its self inflicted l took my time off as annual leave really wanted more but we were really short staffed after, everyone else was off. xx good luck huni

    Mmm dont know what i should do, might leave it as a week then go see my doc after 6 days and get a sick note for another week? just hope it doesnt result in me loosing my job x
